Jordan: Collapse of Israel-Palestinian talks 'threatens region'     Roee Nahmias and AP
1. The main obstacle to peace...
Is the Palestinians' insistence on terrorism, their addiction to foreign funds and sympathy for those "Poor, mistreated, helpless people," and refusal to get a job and get a life.

2. IT ONLY "THREATENTS" HASHEMITE DESIRE TO RE-TAKE JERUSALEM
THE KING IS NICE - A GOOD GUY 0 BUT HE'LL GET OLD AND DIE AT SOME POINT - THEN WHO COMES AFTER HIM ???

The main obstacle is the US´ government constantly interfering in foreign countries´ affairs and benefiting from them. On the one hand your government calls for peace on the other hand it supplies all kinds of weapons and billions of military aid to various terrorism-supporting countries such as Saudi Arabia, which use this aid to finance organizations like Hamas/Hizbullah and so on. Do you think organizations like Hamas exist without being funded from an outside source? It is eventually your government and the EU and the whole international community who funds Hamas by providing billions in aid to the Palestinians and military aid to countries which deny Israel´s right to exist and call for its destruction. It is your countries foreign policy which keeps the whole region in tension. Slowly the US is beginning to reap what it has been sowing. Most of the big conflicts in the world are the responsibility of Mr Bushes foreign policy. The Balkans, the Middle East. Wherever the US tries to do something "good" or "promote democracy" it usually ends very very disastrous. Very soon we will have a Gaza Strip in Europe called "the drug-and weapon trafficking rogue state of Kosovo". And that is only the beginning. Instead of focusing on domestic affairs your smart government has been printing trillions of dollars to finance the Iraq war and because of your stupid government (o.k. only partially because of it) I have to pay more than €1,40 for 1 liter gas. Face it: the us is the main obstacle and virtually prevents any kind of negotiations not to mention peace.
