3. Knesset to withdraw
Thank G-d the women saved the Knesset from themselves. What a bunch of fools our "representatives" are. The Pensioner's Party only got in the Knesset by luck and the next time around they will be gone from it.
Again Kol Hakavod to the women who stood up and made themselves heard.

8. Question
Why do the nice prostitutka always colour the roots of their lovely blond hair with a darker colour.
Is it a prerequisite that in order to work as a prostitutka you need to have black coloured roots?

9. Hey big fella. New in town?
Hmmm.
Can't think of a better place to discuss prostution than the "House of K."
(Except maybe the Olmertian cabinet offices)
Every place of national legislation in every nation I can think of, is filled to the gunnels; overflowing with polititurd whores.
I exclude the decent administrative, maintainance and security staffs of course.

11. Shame on Ynet for calling these women prostitutes.
These women are no longer in that industrym therefore that no llonger makes them prostitutes. A more proper term would be former, or ex-prostitute. Anything other than that is defamation. Who in their right mind would try to legalize prostitution? The real whores are those government officials, as well as other idiots, who advocate the legalization of prostitution. They will do just about anything for money. But you can be sure that most of this dirty money will be used to keep the Israel's corrupt elite in power.
There are prostitutes in the Knesset as this article claims, but they sure are not those girls. If that is what Ynet meant, then I apologize for my attack.

13. Legalization (#7 und #10)
I agree with McCoy and Andrew. The problem with prostitution is that it EXISTS ANYWAY – in any country at any time. Even in the Communist block, even in Iran(!!!). The Iranian gangsters, liars and hypocrites only call it "temporary marriage".
Prostitution is said to be the oldest trade in the world.
In Germany several years ago prostitution was legalized by a mid-left government (labour and greens) for securing better rights for the women.
While radical feminists in Germany want to criminalize prostitution again, I think it's ridiculous: Prostitution will not disappear – the women are only pushed into the criminal arena (pimps, violence, drugs etc.).
The most important thing is to offer psycho-social counseling for the prostitutes, regular medical check-ups and helps by the employment exchange to get out there and find other jobs – and the possibility to get a health insurance (in Germany possible only since legalization).
The POLICE won't solve the problem. What might help are "shocking reports" like those from the ladies reporting at the Knesset. And help for the ladies by supporting social institutions to deal with it or to find ways out.
But probably there will be a bizarre coalition of radical feminists and radical religious groups: They want it to be ILLEGAL – and what happens afterwards "down on the ground"... doesn't interest them at all.
Specially when hearing the awful experiences from the ladies – shouldn't it be more important to help them instead of chasing the police after them?

14. 8 Avi...They probably are too exhausted and broke to
buy hair bleech coloring for the roots of their naturally dark hair. It is also fashionable to let the dark roots show. It must make the women look more needy so the males feel sorry for them and give them money for sex. The glamorous prostitukas are called call girls and snare governors like in New York instead of little people.

15. wots the dif btwn a prostitute & an MK?
the prostitute makes you feel good about yourself.
even if it's one who's testifying - if someone who has gone through that and come out on top (no pun intended) anyone can...
well, except an MK, of course. who ever heard of a politician actually saying his/her proffession should be delegitimized!

16. To #13 :-)
Prostitution is NOT the oldest trade in the world. Begging for it came first :-)
Legalizing the trade wouldn't be so bad, but unionizing it could be disastrous.
A dedicated Teamsters union worker was attending a convention in Las Vegas and decided to check out the local brothels. When he got to the first one, he asked the Madam, "Is this a union house?"
"No," she replied, "I'm sorry it isn't."
"Well, if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?"
"The house gets $80 and the girls get $20," she answered.
Offended at such unfair dealings, the union man stomped off down the street in search of a more equitable, hopefully unionized, shop. His search continued until finally he reached a brothel where the Madam responded, "Why yes sir, this is a union house. We observe all union rules."
The man asked, "And if I pay you $100, what cut do the girls get?"
"The girls get $80 and the house gets $20."
"That's more like it!" the union man said.
He handed the Madam $100, looked around the room, and pointed to a stunningly attractive blonde.
"I'd like her," he said.
"I'm sure you would, sir," said the Madam. Then she gestured to a 79-year old woman in the corner, "but Ethel here has 60 years seniority and according to union rules, she's next."

17. 11 Etoile: Many years after sailors retire from the Navy,
they are still called sailors, as the light operetta and movie "Evita" pointed out about Eva Person, the wife of Argentina's ruler Colonel Juan Peron in the 1950's. Eva Duarte Peron was never a prostitute to my knowledge, but she lived with different males who supported her or used her and threw her away. He profession or occupation was a reported and newscaster, like the Crown Princess of Asturia of Spain, Letitia.

22. #16 Yes indeed...
There is indeed a prostitutes-union in Berlin (but not exactly as in your example...;-)
Or let's say, more exactly it's an organization to support prostitutes, it fights against their discrimination and gives some legal advice and information...
