1. Instead of building more and more hopeless settlements...
DkS ,   J'lem, IL   (03.31.08)
...wouldn't it be a better idea to start building inside Israel proper, in areas such as the Negev and the Galilee, before we lose these completely to an ever-growing Arab population? Continuing to expand those hopeless settlements doesn't serve any purpose except ruining our chances to hold on to a Jewish and democratic state. The only 'interests' we serve are those of fanatical settlers and the Haredim. When will we wake up and realize we've been so busy filling up the West Bank with settlements, and every square centimeter of Gush Dan with high-rise building, and in the meanwhile lost our hold over territories about which there technically is no dispute and that are integral to Israel's future? Can't we build a decent town for Haredim somewhere in the Negev instead of in Judea? Can't we stop neglecting the Bedouin population there and provide them with normal housing? Are we so blind to not see that all those small settlements in the heart of Palestinians territories are not worth their ultimate price, which is the end of the only tiny Jewish state that exists in the world? We continue to build and build and in the meanwhile our fate becomes so entangled with the fate of the Palestinians in the territories, that eventually there won't be any way to separate from them. And that's exactly what they want! We don't need any external enemy to make sure a Jewish state eventually won't exist. We are taking care of that pretty fine ourselves! Even America's patience with Israel will run out sometime, and our continued lying in the face of the world will come back to hit us good. The only 'state' we'll have left eventually, is the 'State of Gush Dan'. The rest we'll lose due to stupid decision and demographic blindness. Every stone laid down in the West Bank helps the Arabs more than us. So either we get out of there and continue building up that which is legally hours (and no, that's not what 'God promised us') or we give the Palestinians voting rights now and shut down the state of Israel as we know it. Cause that's what the world and the reality on the ground will eventually force us to do!!

4. Such a deal
Ben ,   Gush Etzion   (03.31.08)
In effect Rav Ovadia is trading Yerushalayim which Olmert is trying to give away faster than you can say Ehud, for 800 apartments in Beitar which the Vaad HaIchlus- selection committee of Beitar will only sell to Ashkenazim. Such a deal
5. Shas politacally and morally bankrupt
Simon ,   TA Israel   (03.31.08)
Any one out side of Israel would think they had hit on an iranian website. No folks the dude in the blue turban and shades is our very own ayatolah Ovadia Yosef, who threatens the goverment at every chance he gets and imposes his warped will on the majority of Israel. lets hope this politically bankrupt party will loose big time in the next elections.
