1. Nope she lies
A real Observer ,   Not some moonbat   (04.01.08)
thats not the "Muslim" side thats the "secular" side. the Muslim side is responsible for spreading hate, carnage, murder and beheadings. ISLAM says there dar el Islam and dar el harb: Islamic lands and those which must be conquered by the sword. Relentless terror is what we will all ways get from Islam.
2. She isa RacistBigot.Accuses Israel of Collective Punishment
semsem ,   New York, USA   (04.01.08)
How can one respect this woman who accuses Israel of committing "Collective Punishment" against the poor Gazans? However she does not consider thousands of rockets fired from Gaza at Israeli civilians as collective punishment. Why? Clearly because she is a racist antisemitic bigot.
3. The Arab stereotypes are true!
Palestiniansareamyth ,   USA   (04.01.08)
In Jordan and across the Arab world polls show that Jews are hated by 80%-90% of the population. The majority of Arabs also support terrorism against the Jews. The real face of the Arab world is ugly and bigoted!
4. THE ARAB PROPAGANDA STRIKES AGAIN
(04.01.08)
5. I love queen rania
(04.01.08)
6. Ah Rania, if only all our neighbours were like you!
Sheila ,   Jerusalem Israel   (04.01.08)
7. Queen Rania
Shoshannah ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (04.01.08)
You said: "The Palestinian-born Rania..." I believe she was born in Kuwait. But you really should check that out before publishing, don't you think? Or maybe, since so many people who were born in Kuwait (I know some personally) call themselves "palestinian", we should start calling that little country "palestine"? And then, all those people who want to live in "palestine" could move there - except I'm sure the al-Sabah family would NOT be happy! LOL
8. As a Jordanian
Said ,   London, UK   (04.01.08)
I personally dislike her... After she's done with her multimillion shopping sprees in Champs Elysee and Sloane Street, she decides to do something politically... hurray, but all that money was the Jordanian people's tax money....And #3, you're just reinforcing the American stereotype: hillbilly rednecks with the lowest IQs in the world, that have never ventured beyond the borders of their shitty little backwater town. You're force-fed the images the American media want you to see, and you swallow it while thanking them. America thinks its a democracy when in fact its an empirial, oligarcic empire...
9. In other words: she's doing "PR Damage Control"
R.Alkalai ,   USA   (04.01.08)
10. The Average Jordanian can't access You-tube
Mike Jefferson ,   Washington, D.C.   (04.01.08)
or a computer, etc. Many are illiterate too. She can film whatever she wants but the truth is that Arab society is still dominated by tribalism and controlled by Islamism.
11. #8 Said London UK
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (04.01.08)
The stereotypes are actually far better than the reality. If Westerners really knew what life is like in Arab countries, they would be more than horrified. This is not to say that there are no fine, wonderful people as well. Coming from an Arab country myself, I have known many really great people. What is sad to say is that they are not the majority & they were as disgusted as I was with the typical behavior of our compatriots. Contrary to your statement, the American media actually tries to present the Arab world in a favourable light but the actual behavior of Arabs makes quite a negative impact. And while your anti-Americanism is quite obvious, you Arabs are among the last to criticize anyone else given the rather nasty nature of all of your governments. By the way, I suppose you live in London because of the weather, right?
12. The proper approach to New Image.
gadees ,   vanco.   (04.01.08)
Its true, we have such scriptures but you too have your Talmud, where non jews or goyem are no more that animals. All religions are alike, jenocidal and filled with xenophopia. So, lets not throw our dirts on others.Best way for Queen Rania to serve her own people is through freeing her husband from Israeli and American influance. If all Arab leaders' wives unify their approach, this will give rise to the new Arab image in the world.
13. #11 Terry from Eilat
Said ,   London   (04.01.08)
Just out of interest, what Arab country are you from, since the name Terry doesn't strike me as Arabic. Its rather convenient for you to blame the Arabs for their despotic governments, since you can justify anything after that. But I wonder who it is that keeps these despotic governments in power, with billions of dollars in yearly aid, whilst lamenting that there is no democracy in the Middle East? The very same country that continuously betrays the democratic voices in the Arab countries. The one that claims it wants to bring democracy to the world, yet has a track record of precisely the opposite. Care to explain?
14. Rania can say what she likes, reality is there
(04.01.08)
for all to see. And as for Said, No. 3 is correct, Palestinians are the biggest myth thrown at the world. Many "palis" themselves admit this.
15. To Said #8. ENVY Will Poison Your.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (04.01.08)
IT appears you are envious of Queen Rania. Said, don't do that. ENVY will poison your whole body and mind. Instead of becoming ANGRY at how the world is being ruled -- you should try to find out what the highest aim of life is. Planet Earth will continue to exist -- long after you are dead and gone. Becoming envious of wealthy persons, being angry at politicians -- will NOT benefit you. You will get REAL benefit if you would try to find out what the highest aim of life is.
16. #7 Rania no longer a Palestinian
gadees ,   vanco.   (04.01.08)
Shoshannah, thats a good answer for a servile queen. She should learn her lesson. There are more than a way to skin a cat.
17. 13#, Said, Terry is from Morrocco
Judah ,   Israel   (04.01.08)
It is a french name. You never answered the question. Why are you in England? Obviously to escape your former Moslem country. Why do muslims move to America, Canada and England and then want to change their adopted country?
18. to all talkbackers interested
(04.01.08)
IN THE TRUTH!....... queen raniah is a pleasanr and well educated person. she is modern and secular in nature and i have met her on numerous occasions working as a humanitarian aid in the arab refugee camps in jordan. i have worked there during 2000-2003 and have seen more than i need to see of the reality on the ground. although the jordanian queen is pleasant and "interested" in the well being of her population, the reality couldn't be further from the actual truth on the ground. instead of running to expose the world to what "islam is not about", it would behoove her to do something more practical in the camps that her husband created, fostered and encouraged in jordan. queen raniah, you husband is holding multitudes of poverty stricken, uneducated, poor, illiterate and desperate people in the camps you have created as a weapon to fight your so called hate for israel's existance. it would serve your country more if you could concentrate your energies on giving these poor souls citizenship, aspiration for their future, hope and employment and release them from the political prison you have infringed upon them in hopes of using them as pawns in your constant and limitless political struggle against the israeli government and israelis in general. please note that IT IS YOUR PEOPLE, YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHO ARE PAYING THE PRICE FOR YOUR POLITICAL AGENDAS. if you are that concerened in uplifting the image of arab countries shown to the western world, do it with deeds rather than youtube and words. then, we can really believe you have no ulterior motives. your kingdom has done absolutely nothing for these miserable people living as prisoners in your country. and if you want to know the real truth, it is those same people who blame your monarchy for their living conditions rather than israel. most inhabitants in your self generated camps belong and should be part of jordanian society; an integral part, since your population is 80% palestinian. i have seen more than i can cry of your abysmal treatment of these people, of your manipulation of these people as pawn in your continuous battle against another state. i have cried with them, huged them, comforted them.....but i was only one individual without power to change a thing. get off the youtube channel, queeen raniah, and start fixing the image of your county and other arab countries via the relief of the multitudes of suffering you have inflicted on your own people in the name of politics. you can't hold them victimized and imprisoned for life. israel now exists and no matter what damage control you strive to do on youtube, it won't help your people being used to eradicate a state that can never be eradicated. israel doesn't owe these palestinian people a thing, but you do! your imprisoned population in the refugee camps will not remove israel from the map and its location and once you get this, you can then manage to go forward and correct the injustice that your kingdom has bestowed on these poor pawns in your political battle in the region. enough is enough. no matter how many youtube presentations you do, it won't change the fact that you are continuing to use and abuse your people.
19. Answers answers
Said ,   London, UK   (04.01.08)
To begin, I'm not envious of the queen, I'm just angry at the misappropriated money the Hashemites have. It is well known that, since they were kicked out of the Hejaz by the Saud tribe, they came to Transjordan with virtually nothing. Where did they get all that wealth from? The aid money the West sent to help the ORDINARY people, not the rulers! Second, I don't want to change my "adopted" country, I'd much rather it stays the same! I was brought up by a Greek mother and so I value the freedoms the West affords, but that doesn't mean that I must sit silently while the West blatantly flaunts it hypocrisy. I'd much rather see a democratic Jordan, than the despotic monarchy that currently is, but I don't automatically support democracies - that's just naive. The problem with many of the talkbacks is that they immediately apply the stereotype simply by mention of my name - that is the basis of your error. Why am I in London? Simple: better job opportunities. Lastly, I do not hear any condemnation from any of you on the West's hypocrisy regarding the funding of despots and the silencing of democrats. At the very least, all of us here can disagree through dialogue rather than bloodshed.
20. # 13 Said
(04.01.08)
"Its rather convenient for you to blame the Arabs for their despotic governments" Arabs love to blame the West for the state of their governments. When have Arabs not lived under a colonial power or a homegrown despot? "The very same country that continuously betrays the democratic voices in the Arab countries" Like the Muslim brtherhood?

27. You Stereotype yourself!
Israel   (06.19.08)
It's such a shame you're such a stereotype yourself! Did you even graduate from highschool? Did you take history lessons? Do you know that it's Arabs who invented the alphabets you just used to make up your sentences on the comment you posted? You're a pathetic excuse for a human being. Moronic, is the word. Educate yourself before spreading more stereotypes. It's a shame George W. Bush has brainwashed your air head into nothing but statements he wants you to belive. Such a pity! Jordan is packed with some of the best doctors and phylosophers in the Middle East, including Israel. I am not going to provide references because I know it's sad minded morons like yourself that will always find away to dispute the references.
