I agree with observing the Torah that Moses delivered, not the words of a Miriam whos states a cushite is not good enough to be Moses' wife. If someone is not from a "good" family but still a good person or a convert returns from the Jewish cult of Christianity, the Rabbis try to force them to take the table scraps. Even G-d forgives one who returns, the Rabbis however do not enforce one law for all, rather Chet addtions that justify treating who they want as dogs. This is not the Torah Abraham practice as Abraham had friends who were goyim, it is not God's way as God converted all the hebrews and the souls that joined (goyim converts) them to our Torah. Everyday there are more and more Orthodox young people getting married to Gentiles. He seems like a fine young man and their children will be Jewish. Her parents should rejoice about that.
