1. Olmert had his chance a month ago, but surrendered to Hamas
Cynic ,   USA   (04.09.08)
2. Close the terminal during the investigation
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (04.09.08)
This deserves a long and through investigation in to: - the security of the site -how the attackers got in -how the attackers got out - how to improve the security of the area - etc. While under investigation nothing should leave the site as it could be evidence. This investigation could take years.
3. STOP GIVING THEM GAS - NOW!!!!
Israel Stupit ,   NJ   (04.09.08)
Israeli government talks way too much, but does very little to protect its citizens. But where are the people’s out cry from Tel Aviv, Haifa and the rest of the beach loving Bums, Shame on YOU!
4.  Israeli official's empty threats
AK   (04.09.08)
Don't israeli officials realize how impotent and ridiculous they sound when they issue those empty threats?
5. YOU"RE ALSO PAYING & WILL PAY TOO
(04.09.08)
6. Yeah, Yeah, Blah, Blah
emanon ,   USA   (04.09.08)
More useless words will be spoken by Israel and more killers will be freed. Meanwhile, the terrorstinians will be restocking and reloading for another attack somewhere else.
7. olmert
ziggy ,   philiopols   (04.09.08)
deep sympathy to the families of the innocent citizens MURDERED.Olmert must be sent to the black hole of calcuta for the rest of his earthly days.HE IS A MENANCE to Israel,. he is directly responsible for todays event. shame on him. what does he see in the mirror???
8. How many more victims does this government need ?
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (04.09.08)
Last April, the Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Ashkenazi told the government at a cabinet meeting that "the only solution to continued Palestinian rocket fire into the western Negev is to implement a ground incursion into the Gaza Strip." However, the IDF is continuing to implement a policy of targeted airstrikes against terrorist cells and leaders in the Gaza region. Israel has not only the right, it has the duty to defend its citizens as explained at : http://xrl.us/bi5wp
9. Olmert
David ,   USA   (04.09.08)
These talkbacks are getting a little bit sickening. Always the accacks on Olmert. If you people don't like Olmert why don't you do something about it besides spout off your mouths. Go to the streets in protest, in mass. Call for a no confidence vote. Get rid of him if you don't like him. I have been reading these talkbacks for two years and they are always the same. You accuse Olmert of being all talk and no action. What do you think you are doing? All useless talk and no action. You are no better than he is.
10. # 5 one of our Balastinian bease bartners...no doubt
Dan ,   Efrat ,ISRAEL   (04.09.08)
Coward from a long line of cowards.
11. Hamas will pay for Nahal Oz attack
Ehud Olmert ,   Ramallah   (04.09.08)
Just kidding mahmood
12. Why is Rabbi Yosef so immoral?
Steve ,   Fla.   (04.09.08)
Avigdor Lieberman had the Jewish self-respect to bolt this immoral government and join the opposition. Rabbi Ovadia Yosef -- this great Halakhic scholar -- by contrast, clings to this corrupt prime minister and his immoral government. Here we have one (perhaps secular) Jew with self-respect and moral courage. On the other hand we have a great rabbi with no self-respect and no moral courage. Why is this?
13. Nahal Oz murders
Ger ,   Raanana, Israel`   (04.09.08)
Here we go again. A government official says Hamas will pay a heavy price for murdering two Israelis. Guess we're going to hit a few more empty buildings.
14. No, ISRAEL will pay... Olmert & Livni & Barak will
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (04.09.08)
provide more Guns, Armored vehicles, Bullets, Night vision goggles to the Palestinian Authority - which was involved in this as well as many other attacks. Our brave leaders are arming the enemy - while removing the weapons our citizens need for their own protection. Doesn't it make you sick?
15. #12- Simple, $$$.
Allan ,   US   (04.09.08)
16. Enough is enough!
jason white ,   afula,israel   (04.09.08)
The high court of arab sympathy forces the government to give fuel to the terrorists. Time to close this institute of evil down and jail all the judges and their staffs for aiding the enemy. For too long we have had people who do not know security or willing to sacrifice our security in charge. Time for them to pay for the death and destruction visited upon the people of Israel. They should be tried and jailed for life.
17. Let the Pals sit in the dark
Dan ,   NY, USA   (04.09.08)
Cut off all electricity and be done with it. The UN and all the Peace freaks are going to cry foul anyways so just do it and get it over with. Once the Pals move into Egypt, close them in and tell Egypt now it's their problem. Don't even let them back into Gaza.
18. impotent Israel incapable of exacting heavy price
Marcel ,   Florida   (04.09.08)
The only thing the Olmert government will deliver is more empty words and more fuel, more surrender and appeasment and rewards to the Islamic terrorists. The reason is because Israel is married to the fool Bush and his Road Map from hell. Israel the abused wife does not have permission from Bush to do anything to Hamas which might endanger his phony peace farce or anger his Saudi paymasters..
19. barak & olmert talk more than they do
zionist forever   (04.10.08)
Both Barak & Olmert talk alot but they dont do alot if it unless its doing things for the arabs all in the name of strenghening Abbas. If Abbas says its good for him its good for Olmet no matter what t is. If an Israeli says that doing something that arabs wont like is good for Israel Olmert will say go to hell I dont want to hear what you have to say. Lets wait see what action Barak actualy takes before we get our hopes up that he is going to do anything posative.

21. What are the chances of peace?
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (04.10.08)
There will not be peace with the Arabs living west of the Jordan because the Arab leaders in the Middle-East are afraid of peace. We should understand why the leaders in the Arab world do not want peace with Israel. Peace and closer relations with Israel means democracy in the Arab countries, improvement of individual freedom for all, freedom of choice as to religion and education in other words the end of the dictatorship, the end of tyranny in the Arab countries first, and then, in the Muslim countries. Can the Saudi King Abdullah accept this ? can Basher al-Assad accept this ? can Mubarak accept this ? can all the petty tyrants of the Arabic Peninsula accept this, or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ? …so let’s be realistic: can peace, indeed, be more than just a dream ? Peace with Israel means, also, the abandondment of Jihad, the abandondment of the conquest of the world by Islam. In order to understand what that means you should consult : http://xrl.us/bi7kq
