Israeli air strike targets Nahal Oz terrorists     Ali Waked
1. very limited,restrained strike
YNET failed to report that the strike was very limited and of no deterrent value. Israel can do very little of concrete value in Gaza to stop the threat from Hamas because it might be seen as victory and this is not permissable under the Bush Road Map. There is no more victory allowed for Israel under the 2 state final solution.

5. #4 and you?
shouldn't you have reported yourself to a mental facility today?
(04.10.08)
6. #4 - No no no no no. You just don't get "it".
"None" of us are "civilians". We're all "criminals" just by virtue of being here, and all "deserve" the punishment. One must wonder, though, if the current Islamic takeover of the UK is delayed collective punishment for the British mandate, since whatever Pals were here at the time sure didn't seem to be as bothered as they are by us now...

7. #4 maybe but...
when the it turns out that the Palestinians were responsible for the death of the child when one of their mortars fall short.... well that's just "resistance".

8. Terrorism coming from Gaza.
One should be under the rockets in Sderot, just like all the other citizens of Sderot. and feel what it's like to be in Sderot and Ashkelon at these times, with the terrorists playing Russian rocket roulette with the lives of Israeli citizens. Israel should adopt a zero tolerance policy for rockets. Every rocket that flies from Gaza into Israel is a violation of UN Charter Article 51 - an armed attack giving Israel the full and complete right to proportional self-defense. Proportional doesn't mean equating lives; it just means that if they fire a rifle at you, you can't nuke them. It also doesn't mean that for every life taken, you can take one life, as the international community absurdly believes. It simply means that you don't react totally out of proportion, and neither do you look at the actual damage caused, but rather, you look at the risks of an attack. If each rocket can potentially kill 100 people, then just because they missed, it doesn't remove the risk that had been there. Israel doesn't have to wait until inevitably a rocket hits a school bus or a kindergarten or an ambulance; it can look at the risks, not just the actual consequences.Israel doesn't have to wait until inevitably a rocket hits a school bus or a kindergarten or an ambulance. We should adapt as described at : http://xrl.us/biz8x

OK, Israel did respond and not only that, they did not release any killers. But it was still a soft response.

10. Israel didn't respond strongly
because George Fush, Condi Strife, Ehud Walmart, and Tzippi Unleavened say it would weaken Abbas

11. Abducting of soldiers and civilians
Yes, I can see why they want to abduct more Israelis (according to the news on the radio this morning) - they see they have made enormous headway with Gilad Shalit. The thousands of prisoners they have requested in exchange for him are still rotting in a prison cells. They've seen how easy the government is when it comes to kidnapped soldiers and civilians. Gilad Shalit has been in captivity for almost 2 years now and they are no further forward than they were 2 years ago. These hopeless Idiots have no brains, they are stupid cretinous morons that only use vile despicable antics to ignite the already flaming fire – AND it will get them nowhere.

12. #8 in Tel Aviv
Fair enough Robert. Unlike the two murders that took place at the fuel depot, what you describe is actual terror. Regardless of life lost or not in Sderot and Ashkelon, the continuation of such attacks instill terror in the population. It is by its very nature a collective punishment upon the civilians residing there. I strongly suspect that there are a great many in Gaza who live in constant fear of unmanned drones and IDF fighters. I doubt you are so naive as to believe that these smart bombs are so smart that they only strike "terrorists". So on and on it goes . The solution seems to be a larger Israel. The Torah quoters on this site like to mention not dividing G-d's land. One state. Not two. But then you would have to be willing to give the vote to Palestinians and I am sorry to say that is not something most of your countrymen are willing to do. So until such time there will continue to be Russian, Czech, Iranian, French and American arm merchants all too willing to exploit your mutual hate and distrust of each other collectivel y. It must be a righteous person who can fight hatred from taking root in their heart in such an environment. I wish you the best of luck. Thank you
