And if Obama doesn't recognize the weight that Carter's former presidency carries (failed though it may have been), and what his imprimatur would do to enhance the standing of a terrorist organization like Hamas, then he's far too naive to lead this country during such perilous times.

It is fascinating how the mainstream media has protected Obama. Most Americans know very little about his accomplishments, his voting record as an elected official, or the specifics of his positions on the economy, Iran, or terrorism. The people running his campaign saw a very smart and charismatic candidate who delivered a great speech and decided to run his campaign on 2 words, "hope" and "change" while ignoring his lack of experience and record. The mainstream media has shown such favoritism towards him that they give prominence to any stories that may hurt the other candidates such as McCain's supposed affair with a lobbyist and Clinton's comments on her Bosnia trip. Yet most newspapers either glossed over or ignored Obama's 20 year association with an anti-American and antisemitic mental case who happened to be his minister. They only came out with the story after he gave his speech on race ( theminister issue had nothing to do with race) and told the world that Obama's speech was brilliant and equal to the Gettysburg Address. Now, we have Obama refusing to criticize Carter's ill-founded meeting with Hamas. Why won't he criticize Carter? Why didn't he leave a crazy and anti-American church? Whatever the reason, he's the worst possible candidate from a major party that I can remember.

Obama a guy that cannot be counted on to stand up and do what is right. No one with half a brain could conclude that Obama is a strong supporter of Israel. I have more respect for J.E. Wright, who at least took a stand. Even Nixon was a much better friend of Israel. This Democrat is voting McCain.
