I always search for OU certification when I buy my products... OU is the Orthodox Union certification which I trust particularly to make sure that certain products are Pork free. I always look for Kosher Gelatin, etc... OU is doing a good job in that perspective... Kol HaKavod for them :)

red wine. Looked at the ingredient and the tempest in a teapot was Red Wine! And it was very far down on the list.
