The UN now can't deliver aid. Reports are that 96% of businesses are failing in Gaza. No work. No food. No energy. No hope. All efforts of PAL Gazans are in Qassams, shooting, stabbing, and kidnapping. Even Carter had to meet Hamas in Egypt and Syria knowing that he might well have been killed in Gaza. Now US Congress is discussing the Carter resolution to censure Carter and cut off all funding for the Carter Center ($19Million per year). All US candidates are condemning Carter for trying to meet and legitimize the terrorists. Cutting off the cancerous Gaza from PA and pursuing better quality of life by building better relations with Israel, Jordan, etc. would really piss off Hamas as it flies in the face of everything they stand for - The destruction of Israel. It might show what is achievable through peace and cooperation which would destroy the justification of Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran. USA, EU, and Israel have tons of money to give Abbas if their are tangible achievements towards the ROADMAP. But in the meantime we must do everything possible to crush Hamas, PRC, IJ, and Gazan terror. Not until all Qassams stop and Shalit is freed should we we let up an inch.
