The PA population elected the Hamas terrorist organization to lead the government in a landslide victory two years ago, and they alone would be responsible in case of a humanitarian crisis in Gaza – not Israel. Qassam shooting at Israel should stop at any price. Prudence is an important consideration of statesmanship, but self-respect is vital and no self-respecting nation can allow the situation in Sderot to continue.
