1. Who believes the IDF anymore?
JJohnson ,   Turks & Caicos   (04.28.08)
Not me. Just like the massacre on the beach in Gaza (it was a mine!) the IDF always lies to protect themselves.
2. Yes, but will we see this on CNN, SkyNews and the BBC?
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (04.28.08)
When are the Government, the Knesset and the IDF going to get it into their thick heads that what happened five minutes ago is no longer news? The damage was done when the Palestinians took full advantage of the full time TV News broadcasts to air their side of the story. Our side gets aired in Hebrew on our TV News bulletins hours later. Minister Livni, WE HAVE TO HAVE and International and multi-language news channel broadcasting 24 hours a day!!!!!!
3. The terrorist bomb killed the children.
(04.28.08)
4. with Zero gunmen's casualty inside house or in vicinity?
observer   (04.28.08)
is that what the Imperfect Deadly Force calls "perfect human shield"
5. Rami-Nazereth, Eddi-London, Adam-USA, Dan-Canada
Miriam ,   Israel   (04.28.08)
Let's hear what your outcry against your terrorist friends, or are you too afraid to say the truth.
6. Palestinian people:
Moriah ,   sacramento,USA   (04.28.08)
Is this working for you? When will you wake up? Is this what you want for your children? Why aren't you planning to assassinate these monsters who fill your life with misery and bondage to the ideal of martyrdom? You are the problem, not Israel...Pathetic...
7. DOES THIS MEAN THE ARABS WILL APOLOGIZE AND SENDS GIFTS ?
..............DACON9   (04.28.08)
8. Who believes the IDF?
Juan ,   Spain   (04.28.08)
I DO! - over the lying people of Gaza. Israel may not be perfect, but they do try to keep the high moral ground, and truth is part of that. Terrorists can keep the low moral ground - and bite the dust.
9. Self-inflicted war crime.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (04.28.08)
Now it will be quickly forgotten - Arabs killing Arabs is not news, just normal, expected behavior. There will be no condemnations, no moral indignation, no self-righteous accusations, nothing. The chorus of useful idiots will delete this from memory, awaiting another event to rush to judgement for a little gratuitous Israel-bashing.
10. The Arabs always lie about this stuff
David ,   Boston, USA   (04.28.08)
The best example is of someone who supposedly died and walked away from his own funeral. This is just another arab propaganda stunt. Blame the Hamas cancer for the casualties, not Israel. Gaza was given hot houses, jobs, opportunity, and decided to commit war crimes against Israel instead. You get what you deserve when you side with a cancer.
11. big lie
john ,   jerusalem   (04.28.08)
as the saying goes:: How did you know it was a lie.....well because of it's size:: This is the biggest lie i have ever heard..twisting the facts...IDF speciality
12. glorious martyrs for palestine!
david ,   new york   (04.28.08)
13. #8 excuse me! where is the high moral ground?
(04.28.08)
in Jerusalem or in Haifa?
14. IDF version an insulte to the legendary Jewish intelligence.
Moise   (04.28.08)
And please stop taking us for imbeciles.
15. Why is YNet a Palie propaganda outlet?
naro ,   nyc   (04.28.08)
YNet distributes all Palestinian propaganda unfiltered or verified. WHY????
16. No. 1
NYC Girl   (04.28.08)
If you don't believe the IDF,. you're very naive. All those highly publicized Palestinian accusations against Israel turned out to be false...the Jenin massacre (where a "dead" Palestinian kept falling off a stretcher and getting up again), or the death of Mohammed al-Dura (assuming he's even dead) and yes, the incident on the Gaza beach. But I guess when you live in a place like the Turks and Caicos Islands, it's very easy to be smug.
17. #12 you are right
observer   (04.28.08)
even that one year old baby is martyr
18. Terry, in all your posts
Libneniyyeh ,   Beirut/Canada   (04.28.08)
you have got to be the most hypocritical, dislikeable character that ever had a say on this forum. You, who rush to bash Arabs and Muslims alike at every opportunity, you, who never miss a chance to slip in a snide, hateful remarks, suger coating them with false saccharine charm and sophisticated rhetoric. You, who pretend a certain level of tolerance and reason by virtue of having lived most your life in an Arab country and by virtue of having "lots of Arab friends" are the first to besmear all Arabs, to stereotype them into one lump. You, who never miss an opportunity to liken the Muslim population to Nazi Germany, nevertheless do your utmost best to depict the Arab population as a homogeneous, distasteful mass that must, at some point, be done away with. I find your condescension repulsive, your back stabbing attitude of supremacy and intolerance Nazi like and odious. It is sad how little you do know.
19. how does barak explain his atrocities to his granddaughter?!
Khaled ,   Amman, Jordan   (04.28.08)
20. To Arabs: Stop the Violence..and See What Happens
Dave Levy ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (04.28.08)
Arab killing Arab, so what else is new? Sunni kill Shia kill Kurds kill Shia, kill Sunni..la di da. Deja vu. Arabs have been murdering one another since Mohammad. Muslims kill other Muslims, so what? They seem not to care., except when Jews are involved. Iraq is about oil, and Palestine is about who will divide Israel, after "Next year in Jerusalem". Advice to Israel: keep striking them..and hope their own explosive devices get the message across: violence begets violence. Kassams begets IDF retaliation. Stop the Kassams, and the IAF will also go away. It's that simple.
21. #18
(04.28.08)
this is your own opinion regarding terry from eilat. however, i do believe that because you yourself know the arabs for who they are, you yourself chose to leave your arab land for better pastures in canada. so, who is the hypocrite here? you left your country because of what terry is talking about. otherwise you would have stayed if these arabs were so good.
22. #19 - He explainst them with the truth....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (04.28.08)
He simply states thusly: "Sweetie, you know the 'atrocities' that are attributed to me? They are lies from an atrocious, lying band of terrorists." Like I said, he tells the truth. Then he says: "You see that land mass to the east of us on the other side of the Dead Sea? That's Jordan, honey. Its actually a Palestinian state masquerading as another country."
23. #19
(04.28.08)
how does mashaal, mughniyeh, haniyeh, abu zuri, zacharias, bin laden, sadr, haj amin al husseini and all your terrorists that killed thousands of jews and israelis and americans via terror explain these occurences to their granddaughters?
24. Yes, anonymous friend #18
Libneniyyeh ,   Beirut/Canada   (04.28.08)
that is my opinion, and you needn't share it. And my reasons for being in Canada at this time are my own - I don't have to justify myself to you. You can make your own stereotypical presumptions, I don't expect much more from the usual talk back trend here.
25. #19 easy to explain
jerome ,   basalt, co   (04.28.08)
The truth is simply that the Hamasoles deserve to die and they bring death and misery to their people. Unfortunatley the Israeli's are the ones that have to deal with there ignorance, stupidity and contiuned murderous and hypocrital culture. It's very obvious that if the Arabs wanted real peace, there would be no one dying on either side.
26. #18 - how sad you are attacking Terry....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (04.28.08)
He's not hating anybody. He is simply stating the obvious: Hamas is murdering its own Palestinian people and crushing their future. It has them impoverished and cowering. It feeds them lies and death instead of solutions based on compromise and negotiation. And no critical mass of arabs (yourself included apparently) and certainly not the BBC, Reuters, al-Jazeera or any other Israel-hating media outlet have the decency to condem what they are doing - since the only goal is to bash Israel and blame us for things that our army did not do. Like the famously faked media photographs - and footage of the funeral for a "martyr" who kept hopping off and and back on the gurney. Or the outcry when the American girl threw herself in front of a bulldozer whose driver could not see her and then got killed. That's all Terry is saying in his post. And its true. So go ahead, call Terry all kinds of mean names. In Israel we are used to this and it doesn't bother us. But the nice thing is this, Libneniyyeh: name calling will never stop us from speaking the truth as we see it. Anybody who has pulled up a chair and met us at a negotiating table has come away with an honest, fair deal.
27. #18 - Libneniyyeh, Put up or shut up...
Joe ,   Ramat Gan   (04.28.08)
Instead of merely railing off lists of insults against a person whose opinion you disagree with, it behooves you to disprove the points he makes by using facts, figures and logic. Accusations of hypocrisy and false analogy are meaningless unless you present proof to your accusations. To put this into perspective, it's kinda like saying that the world is flat, then when someone disproves you by saying the world isn't flat because you can fly all the way around it, you "prove" that the world is flat by screaming that the world is flat over and over again and the person who disproved you is a Nazi. In essence, Libneniyyeh, put up or shut up... launching accusations at people without proof that backs up what you say is childish and unconvincing and resorting to mudslinging because you are unable to disprove the points they make with facts and logic is intellectually dishonest. It is, however, humorous how little you use the brain Allah gave you...
28. #13 Mr. excuse you
jerome ,   basalt, co   (04.28.08)
the islamic moral ground is in Gaza of course!!! the true moral ground is in Jerusalem and Haifa obviously or the Pallis would get their wish and all be martyrs!
29. Thanks to Hamas, they were not "protected" persons under law
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (04.28.08)
Established international law specifies that protected persons - genuine civilians - lose the protection of international law if they are proximate to hostiles. So these deaths, while tragic, cannot be blamed on Israel. If Palestinians want their civilians to be treated as such, they need to separate themselves from armed militants. But if they continue storing weapons and building explosives labs in residential areas, conducting military training in camps for children, and firing missiles from school rooftops (I've seen the video), then civilians will die. As to the "Why should we believe the IDF", think back to the so-called "Jenin massacre", where Palestinian spokesmen and "witnesses" insisted "hundreds" had been killed, bulldozed into mass graves, etc. ALL LIES. The final count was almost precisely what the IDF had been claiming all along - only 52 or so, most of them fighters.

socalmaverick ,   sunny so-cal   (04.28.08)
