we are lying? take off your propaganda glasses. you palestinians are master of lies and propaganda untill both the un and eu found out who stopped your gas and food shipments....and i quate the un, the eu, and some gaza palestinians.... "hamas took oil, gas and used it for themselves leaving the population without it" hamas shoots at trucks with gas when they deliver it" "hamas refuses to deliver gas to hospitals and then blames everyone else" "hamas forced gas station and electrical powers to close down and threatened with death threats gaza civilians if they open the pumps (which were full of gasoline, by the way). they are going around with guns and threatening us and so we do not go to work in the gas stations. we are afraid to die" hamas walks around with guns and threatens us to close the lights so we sit in the dark" all this was proven and stated by gaza civilians that had been threatened and also condemned by eu, un and anwra!!!!!!!! two days ago in the news!!!!!! do you also remember your jihadi shahid that, during his funeral, fell from his funeral bed which was carried by your friends....he fell AND GOT UP AGAIN AND LIED DOWN ON THE COT!!!! remember the photo shoots and lies about cana, about the bombing on gaza beach, about al durah? this is pallywood my friend. your terrorists had bags full of explosive carried in their backpacks in that house where the family died. once the israelis returned fire to capture these two terrorists, their bags full of explosives blasted off inside that home, killing the entire family. who in their right mind shoots from homes full of children and mothers? only those that life, for them, is not important and they just use these miserable lives for their lies and propaganda.

45. arab lies
tom ,   toronto, canada   (04.29.08)
it seems that some paid arab propagandists are posting talkbacks here. how can i tell? well, after all the "news" stories of how the poor arabs in gaza are suffering shortages of everything, how can someone from gaza afford to have a computer and internet connection, unless they are on hamas' payroll? and certainly no one in gaza wil risk telling the truth: that the palestinian arabs were far better off, from 1967-1987, under israeli occupation, than they are today. under full israeli occupation they jobs, and food, and a better life-expectancy than most of the arab world. it is only since they have come under plo occupation (over 90% of palestinian arabs live in areas controlled by the palestinian authority) that they cannot work to support their families, and they are forced to send their children on "martyrdom operations". for the sake of peace, send the terrorists off to meet their judgements, and end the (plo) occupation now!
46. Truth is the first casualty of war
David Lipton ,   Toronto, Canada   (04.29.08)
One side is as believable or unbelievable as the other. Pick your side and disbelieve the other. OR Pick neither side and the truth is lost in the fog of a war going on since the 1920s. Plus ca change, plus c'est le meme chose
47. #18, You are the pot calling the kettle black!
Jay3 ,   Israel   (04.29.08)
I remember seeing you on Youtube during the last Lebanese war. You look evil! Not only that, but i can guarantee everyone that you as ugly on the outside as you are on the inside. After seeing alot of your posts here on YNet, its clear as to see who really is the hypocrite and racist!

50. Answer to 19 - Mullah Khaled
Nathan Rai ,   Bangalore   (04.29.08)
He does not have to say anything. Just show her a couple of Hamas videos and textbooks. His grandaughter will ask him how the others escaped...
51. So, if I understand correctly...
David L.   (04.29.08)
The IDF fired two missiles at a group of gunmen near a house, and the explosive device they wre carrying went off with enough force so as to destroy a house and kill 5 people, but none of the gunmen were killed? Do they really expect us to buy that crap? If the IDF is to lie, at least make it believable. If a missile kills a civilian tomorrow in Rafah, will it be due to a secondary explosion of today's blast in Beit Hanoun?
52. Israel powerless puppet?
Kay ,   Stone Mill, USA   (04.29.08)
" 'We hold Hamas responsible for anything that goes on inside Gaza and for all the strikes,' Barak said during a tour of an Israel Military Industries facility in central Israel." In other words, Israel has no power over anything that goes on here. With no power to control her own actions, Israel can only react to others. The Palestinians are in control of everything Israel does--is that what you are saying? Israel is a puppet? Palestinians are holding the strings?
53. To Libneniyyeh #18. A Genuine Debater.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (04.29.08)
A genuine debater NEVER attacks the person speaking the words -- he/she will always and ONLY attack the words, the ideas, the thoughts. This is HOW debates takes place in a CIVILIZED society. I guess in your society debate is discouraged -- and attacking the carrier of the message is the norm. A society that teaches one to physically ATTACK the messenger generally produces terrorists -- something which everyone can see very clearly. SO, Libneniyyeh, you should NOT do this anymore. You should learn to attack the message -- to attack the messenger is LOW-CLASS. IN FACT, if I were you I would apologize to Terry.
54. The Arabs of Gaza prefer terrorism!
Robert Bernier   (04.29.08)
Over sixty-five percent of Arabs in Gaza support continued suicide bombings against Israeli civilians, according to a report released Monday by the Arab Jerusalem Media and Communication Center. Sixty-nine percent are "pessimistic" or "very pessimistic" about reaching any peaceful settlement with Israel. More at : http://xrl.us/bjoje
55. Political Correctness
Stan ,   Johannesburg   (04.29.08)
"Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, & rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

what is wrong with you? don't you know how to read the news. BOTH GUNMEN DIED ON THE SPOT! MORON.
57. What a complete and utter waste of money
Danny   (04.29.08)
Those who want to believe - as shown on this list - that the IDF is evil will not be convinced by ANY evidence and by the time the report is out everyone else will have forgotten about it. Isn't there better things to use our taxpayers money on?
58. #51, no you didn't understand correctly...
Danny   (04.29.08)
what a shocker!
59. Re: #56 and #58
Palestine   (04.29.08)
It is not mentionned in this article, nor in any other article on haaretz, jpost or by the international press that gunmen were killed in the strike. Even the IDF did not claim to have killed the terrorists. They just said that the terrorists were "targeted" and "hit", as they always say whether or not the terrorists were actually killed or injured. In any case, if the terrorists supposedly carrying the explosive device were close enough from the house so that it was entirely destroyed by the blast, the missiles from the helicopter are much more susceptible to have caused extensive damage than an hand-held homemade explosive device.
