tomas ,   bsas,argentina   (05.01.08)
When I was in Israel I met some Rabbies and they told me that the 6 million jews deserved to die in the hands of the nazis just because they assimilated and left the Torah teachings. It was horrible to hear such things from another Jew... pathetic.
2. WHY?
Shaka   (05.01.08)
Does anyone know the history of this group and why they are traitors of Israel? How can Jews who study Torah believe that killing other Jews and harming the majority of AM ISRAEL is Gods will? I had the misfortune of meeting a self-hating Jew and he personally explained to me why he does not believe in Israel's right to exist. I will never forget that. . . His arguements were weak at best and mostly twisted. This person had spiritual and probably mental problems and was disliked by most who met him . . . even those who agreed with his demented views. My question is why a group of "ultra-orthodox" Jew have these views? How could a number of so called Jews as a group work dillegently against other Jews? I understand that some Jews do not believe Jews should have a State until the Moshiach comes BUT to be part of the weapon for enemies of Am Israel against us that can bring real physical harm and/death is outrageous. . . how could they believe this? Where do they get this Sinat Hinam (Hatred)?
3. The earth should open and swallow them up
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (05.01.08)
Neturei Karta are a vile lot. It's one thing to philosophize about how "Jewish" Israel is or should be, even whether historic mistakes were made. But Israel is a fact. Where NK crosses the line is in aligning themselves with the enemies of the Jewish people. During the Lebanon II conflict of 2006, a pro-Hizbullah/anti-Israel demonstration took place at a nearby college. Who did we see standing in solidarity with them? Neturei Karta. Just as they stood outside the French hospital where Arafat lay dying in 2004.
4. Two questions
Roscio ,   Rome, Italy   (05.01.08)
1, why are these demented inciters to hatred and supporters of terrorism allowed to even tarnish Israel for one day with their evil presence? They should be thrown out for treason and permanently banned from the country that they so eagerly want destroyed. 2, Why do not all mainstream rabbis place a universal CHEREM on these so-called Jews who only love rodefim, the ones who pursue the killing of all Jews? I am sick of these abominations passing themselves off as Jews for Amalek's propaganda. Tell the world that they are neither Jews nor our representatives.
5. pathetic
(05.01.08)
if you don´t recognise Israel.. then why the hell are you still living in the country? Go to Gaza, Tehran, Damscus.... or go back to Antisemite Europe, I´m sure you´ll be glad to live there right? now if you live in Israel, why don´t you serve in the army and defend jewish lives??? no you stick to the torah..... fine! you can do that in Damascus, Germany, Italy, Ukraine.... amazing!
6. Placards in Hebrew. Wow! Progress!
Jake   (05.01.08)
It used to be that Neturei Karta refused to use the Hebrew language for everyday use, on the grounds that it is a Zionist "Chillul Hashem", desecration of God's name. They conducted everyday conversation in Yiddish only. Now they use Hebrew. What a big step.
7. I think Ynet should invite a Naturei Carta leader...
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (05.01.08)
to write in its opinion section. Let's listen what they have to say to Jews in general . I would like to listen in order to know why they advocate such madness. And why one of them received money from arafat.
8. Shame on this crazy fanatics
bengurion   (05.01.08)
9. No. 3 Raymond
NYC Girl   (05.01.08)
You're absolutely right and your point about their participation in that demonstration is an important one. Because if it weren't for the fact that these treasonous fanatics provide a public relations advantage to the terrorist sycophants, they could just be treated like the nonentities they are. The problem is when they lend a certain legitimacy to Israel's enemies in their attempt to convince the world that if ultra-religious Jews are against the State of Israel, then it must truly be a diabolical place. But, on the other hand, I've never understood why the government of Israel hasn't charged them with sedition and deported the whole lot of them to Brooklyn. Doesn't Israel have laws against "consorting with the enemy at a time of war?"
10. The Nets? Nuts!
Gideon Reader   (05.01.08)
The Nets? Nuts! The Palestinian's All Nutjob goo-goo team. And what is worse, they have a major personal hygiene problem, (Yes, I was close enough to several of them. About four yards or so) that sorely has an eye watering need to be adressed by some heavy duty soap, a stiff brush and water. In the year 2008 these anti Jewish, anti Israel, any available anti Jewish terrorist will do, supporters need to get in touch with their inner cleanliness angels, and leave the Jew hatred to those more suited towards it, fashion wise, anyway.
11. KEEP TWIRLING THOSE PAYIS YOU LAZY BUM!

12. He hate Israel but his name is Israel???
bengurion   (05.01.08)
13. NK exposed by al jazeera
gilad ,   london uk   (05.01.08)
Of all places, NK and it's offshoots were exposed as the sick, narrow minded movements with no solutions that they are. The supporters many are narrow minded bigots who have little understanding. One man (in an offshoot community, not in the direct NK community) who agreed to be interviewed had rocks thrown at his house and was shouted at in the street by mobs of them saying "non-Jew" to him. A haredi this man was, simply for speaking on television. Their community is narrow minded, ghettoised and sick. There's not much point listening to them for anything. They know nothing beyond their doors. For all their prayer they know shockingly little about life or the world.
14. Where does YNet always dig out
Miriam ,   Israel   (05.01.08)
demonstrations from handful of people - i.e. Neturei Karta, Human Rights, Animal Rights, Terrorists Now. Who cares what they have to say?
15. Risen from the Pheonix they are the ashes
Sheila ,   Jerusalem Israel   (05.01.08)
These are the fools who claim that everyone who died in the Shoah deserved it!!!! Israel rose from the ashes of the Shoah because Jews understood that there is one home one refuge and one future. If we had excommunication I would place this lot outside the pale.
16. NK - Why Are You In Israel?
Thomas   (05.01.08)
You sided with Yassir Arafat, a man who took the nickname Abu Amar, which was the same nickname your Arab buddies gave to Hitler. Yet you are concerned with how the memory of the Holocaust is being respected by the Israelis? Go to another Holocaust Denial conference, why don't you.
17. Just like there are many Jews who understand our suffering
Palestinian   (05.01.08)
I wish that we have many people from the Palestinian side who can understand the Jewish point of view impratially and to a degree that allows both of us to live in peace in this land. We are all brother in Humanity and brothers in God. (Elohim, Allahum)
18. NK doesn't die out b/c they get publicity from the press.
LEE ,   NY, USA   (05.01.08)
Its time to stop publishing columns every time they sneeze.
19. Why give publicity to this marginal wacko cult?
David ,   Boston, USA   (05.01.08)
This is such a tiny fraction of the Jewish population. Why is there an article about them? Besides them being totally wrong, they represent practically no one.
20. SEND THEM TO SHALVATA...BUT I DON'T THINK THERE IS CURE
(05.01.08)
21. Have these lunatics ever read the bible even?
Johnny ,   Stockholm Sweden   (05.01.08)
Since all they stand for goes against the Torah.
22. So

25. #2
Zionist ,   Zion   (05.01.08)
They believe israel is the jewish peoples country but they think it should be given to us by the Masiah himself, there for we have no claim of it untill he comes...
26. Neturai Karta
Zionist ,   Zion   (05.01.08)
I go to Jerusalem alot especially to 100 gates and i have seen how some of them act on our indpandnce day, they hang black flags and on the memorial day of our soliders, they live peacefuly because of the bravery of our soliders and they insult theyre death by hanging black flags. im ashamed these people are even a part of am israel :(
27. GOD and Holy Writ
steve ,   london, england   (05.01.08)
These people are suffering from the same syndrome as the fanatical groups in Islamic society ........ they only read one book. They read the literature of ancient Israel only. They are therefore illiterate fools who have ignored one of the greatest pearls of the Talmud. Which is that study is of paramount importance to Jews. I would like to challenge their belief in the idea that the Holocaust was decreed by GOD with this question: 'If that is so, do you accept Jesus Christ is also the embodiment of prophecy?'. For to accept that european history unfolded like a scroll from heaven to fulfill GOD's plan for Creation is to accept Jesus Christ's role in that history. Neturai Karta are a group of misguided illiterate fools who have a right to speak their mind but who are nevertheless utterly wrong in what they say. Especially about the Holocaust. It is almost unimaginable that such people as these actually exist. But the State of Israel was established to be a national homeland for Jews and we must recognize our responsibility to them is to set them right. Without people like them in the past centuries there would have been much less support for zionism when it was needed. Modern Jews and Israeli citizens are among the most eclectic people in the world. We all owe our heritage to people who were fanatical enough about the Torah to keep it alive. But Neturai Karta are people who are lost in their thoughts and their thoughts are directed towards a world that passed away in ancient times. Atleast we can learn from their example of being against secularism that we are right to have a secular state. For to have otherwise a Jewish State would necessitate a culture, an orthodoxy, and a mentality such as they have in their group. Seems wrong doesn't it? To say we prefer a secular state to a jewish state! For we do think of and refer to Israel as a jewish state. But when we do we actually mean the State of Israel being a Jewish homeland. The distinction is crucial. It is as crucial as life and death. All of us will stand together to celebrate 60 years of witness to life and death in the homeland. With mixed thoughts and mixed memories. In the coming decade let's look forward to groups like Neturai Karta dying out. GOD willing of natural causes.

30. they are not Orthodox or ultra
abe ,   new york, usa   (05.02.08)
They are in excommunication, (cant be counted in minyan) a right that every jew has “Orthodox” or not in a Orthodox shull. I think that people call the neturei kartra “ultra orthodox.” in order to say that the Orthodox (religious) are nuts. The neturei kartra are not by any means “orthodox.” Get it straight.
