3. 2 There is no defense against the Sunburn missile which is
like a Cruise missile that flies below radar and has a nuclear warhead. Something is going to happen to provoke a nuclear attack on Damascus and Iran. Isaiah 17:1 describes Damascus as a rubble heap. Daniel chapter 8 describes a Grecian (Gentile per Strong's Concordance) he-goat (UN) with a notable horn (USA) from the ends of the earth (not Greece) that touches not the ground (airplanes or missiles) that subdues a ram with two horns described as Media-Persia (Iraq-Iran). The cause of the war is something that happens that causes great anger in the he-goat.
John Hogue's prophecy website has discussed quatrains by the physician Nostradamus from centuries ago that indicate a lot of ships sink in the Arabian Sea now called the Persian Gulf.
Russia gave Sunburn nuclear missiles to the Red Chinese, but not to the Americans. Red China gave the Sunburn missiles to Iran, I have read. Whether Iran has nuclear equipped Sunburn missiles is a critical question and one reason the nuclear facilities in Iran need to be obliterated. If that is to happen this year, it needs to be done before the Iranian rainy season begins I have read. If shelling those sites is delayed, then that puts the American fleet at risk. Since there are not enough young males in America who are willing to fight a ground war in Iran, that country will have to be subdued by nuclear war which will be hazardous for countries downwind. That is my opinion, for what it is worth.
Since Persia is listed among the nations that are in a Magog (Russian) coalition in Ezekiel chapter 38, that war may be the provocation to nuke Syria and Iran and Egypt. The Bible says Egypt becomes uninhabitable for forty years. Iraq (land of the Chaldeans) becomes uninhabitable forever which sounds like dirty nukes that have a half life of ten thousand years. That would be the Ezekiel chapter 32 war.
I would feel more comfortable with Benjamin Netanyahu at the helm at this critical time. He has made mistakes, too, but I think he is more willing to do what is necessary to defend Israel unless Mr. Olmert starts getting more aggressive toward Israel's enemies. It is hard to predict what a person will do in office.

4. 33 cont'd: There is one defense against nuclear warhead
Sunburn missiles: have ten righteous men on each ship or even have ONE. God told Abraham He would not destroy the city of Sodom if there were TEN righteous men there. As it was, God got the ONE righteous man out of Sodom before He destroyed the city. Torah and Bible study should be encouraged on ships.

5. Re#3&4
Interesting Info., Rivkah. Thanks!
I'd also like to see someone who is more willing to defend Israel than the current leaders take leadership.
I keep reminding myself that The God Of Israel neither sleeps nor slumbers. God will supply the leaders, when needed. We know that Israel, via God, is victorious in the end!
It's very frustrating watching the current bunch, who seem to be willing to even give up part of Jerusalem.

6. 5 Christy: The catastrophic consequences of dividing
Jerusalem, called "MY LAND' in the book of Joel are unimaginable. Ultimately, two thirds of Israelis will die and a third will live to see the Messiah come from the sky to the Mount of Olives described by the Prophet Zechariah. You will know it is the Messiah and not a false one because an earthquake will cause Jerusalem to become a seaport when the real Messiah comes.
The rest of the world will fare worse than the Israelis. Some estimates are that only ten per cent of the world population today will still be on earth when the Messiah comes. Ninety per cent of the world is going to die in the next seven years after Jerusalem is divided by a covenant with death. Then most of those left on earth will be slaughtered by the Lord and his angels and the saints who rise from the dead or are translated into their supernatural bodies without dying. That is described in the book of Joel.
Irvin Baxter's DVD "The Seven Trumpets" show how close the world is to the sixth trumpet when a third of the people on earth die in World War III.
