2. Number of checkpoints has increased ....
(05.24.08)
and terrorism has decreased....
3. UN speaks only poo poo kaa kaa lies.

4. ACT OF ZIONISM
Nader ,   Ramallah   (05.24.08)
I want to start my comment by saying: All we need now is just another Hitler to handle this zionust rejem and the Jihad factions. I need someone just to answer the following questions: 1. A roadblock between Nablus and Tulkarem, how does that serve the security of Israel ?? 2. Let me call the suicide nomer as terrorist; the question is, would this terrorist pass with his explosive matreials through a check point? Or he would go another path? 3. Someone would say now, well after those roadblocks, number of terror acts has declined.. WELL, it has declined becuase of the fence (although it was not built over the green line) and because if IDF has put most of activists in jail. Another reasons is because a faction like Jihad has acheived its goal by committing sucide bomings to ensure that those roadblocks are in place so that hate against Israel is created in the heart of the normal citizens. We should all know that Jihad is not stopping suicide boming because roadblocks are prebenting them to do so, its just a game Jihad is palying. So in this case, rather than punishing the norlam people, you zionists go and get those Jihadest as they are your enemies AND dont ask us to do crack on them because we cant and we cant because we dont have a strong security system, and we dont have a good security system because IDF is rading is undermining their roles. Israel hs destroyed the secuity campgain launched by prime minister salam fayyad by their daily raid to Nablus where then the Palestinian security cant do much because they cant work as long as the IDF is ruining their plans to impose secuirty. Look, I have no intention to discuss the WHOLE politcal problem here, all I'm saying is that roadblocks is JUST a coolective punishment action and an act of terror that the zioinsits are committing agians the Palestinians. ROMOVE THEM before a day will come when we install such raod blocks inside TelAviv and Natanya and then there will be no mercey in hearts.
5. shouldn't the UN be focussing on helping the Myanmar
SA ,   USA   (05.24.08)
cyclone victims and the Darfur genocide? I mean, complaining about checkpoints in Israel? They REALLY NEED TO GET THEIR PRIORITIES STRAIGHT!!
6. #1 No, those get fired OVER the roadblocks!!
comedian ,   anywhere   (05.24.08)
7. Eliminate all road blocks - Send the Arabs home to Arabia
David ,   Houston   (05.24.08)
Its too much trouble policing these savages. As Jews have been expelled from the vast lands that are now ruled by Arab dictators, why should tiny Israel have to keep a hostile population of Arabs? Let the Arabs join their relatives in any of the many Arab countries.
8. I'm also angered by all the inconvience at checkpoints...
David ,   Houston   (05.24.08)
Every time I travel I have to wait in long lines and submit to humiliating inspections. The cause of this is specifically Arab terrorism. As a result hundreds of millions of people suffer. And why are there checkpoints in Judea and Samaria? Because of Arab terrorism. Stop the terrorism as there will be no need for checkpoints.
9. How many Yeshiva students does the UN want killed before
Rivkah   (05.24.08)
they figure out that checkpoints help deter terrorism. The four million Palestinians should be sent to the 22 countries for Arabs that were formed out of the Ottoman Empire. They should not be given part of Israel from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea including Gaza and the Golan Heights because the League of Nations that came before the United Nations set the borders of the Jewish homeland there. If there is a question about Israel's borders, there should be a question about the borders of the 22 Arab countries, too.
10. Bravo Israel...No rockets-No roadblocks
Craig ,   USA   (05.24.08)
I was worried and indignant that our Secretary of State would insert herself to such an extent in Israeli affairs as to actually insist that roadblocks be removed...so glad to hear that Israel apparently ignored her. Gee...what would the "Palestinians rather have, an extremely annoying bunch of roadblocks or a daily dose of rockets landing in their midst endangering their loved ones?? Seems like the "Palestinians" have by far the better end of deal.
11. MORE ROADBLOCK . LESS TERROR
(05.24.08)
12. To OCHA. Folly And Foolish To Remove The Roadblocks !!!
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (05.24.08)
Quote :".. (removing roadblocks) in the West Bank as part of peace effort ..". OCHA, you SHOULD tell the West Bank Arabs to remove all the hate-the-Jew and destroy-Israel wordings from their School Textbooks !!! AFTER having done that, gradually the West Bank Arabs will start to learn not to hate the Jew. AS time goes by, the hating of the Jews will decrease -- consequently more and more roadblocks can be removed. THIS process will take 30 years. AFTER 30 years, there will be NO need of ANY roadblocks anymore. SO OCHA, unless the School Textbooks have been cleansed from all the hate-the-Jew and destroy-Israel wordings -- it will be folly and foolish from the Israeli side to remove the roadblocks !!! BTW that your staff is affected at the crossings from the West Bank to Jerusalem -- you should take that as a NECESSARY burden. WHY ? Because the security of the State of Israel is many times more important then your desire for a hassle-free crossing !! CONCLUSION: OCHA, unless the School Textbooks are cleansed -- your staff's crossing will remain a hassle.
13. not counting
Leonard ,   LA CA USA   (05.24.08)
No Lee, they are not counting the Kassams. For some reason they just over look that. The Arabs just not ready for any peace with Israel. No such thing as Palistinian
14. Roadblocks
berid ,   Dist. 5 USA   (05.24.08)
They should get rid of the U.N. and the French businesses men and keep the roadblocks.
15. What are the chances of peace?
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (05.24.08)
There will not be peace with the Arabs living west of the Jordan because the Arab leaders in the Middle-East are afraid of peace. We should understand why the leaders in the Arab world do not want peace with Israel. Peace and closer relations with Israel means democracy in the Arab countries, improvement of individual freedom for all, freedom of choice as to religion and education in other words the end of the dictatorship, the end of tyranny in the Arab countries first, and then, in the Muslim countries. Can the Saudi King Abdullah accept this ? can Basher al-Assad accept this ? can Mubarak accept this ? can all the petty tyrants of the Arabic Peninsula accept this, or Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ? …so let’s be realistic: can peace, indeed, be more than just a dream ? Peace with Israel means, also, the abandondment of Jihad, the abandondment of the conquest of the world by Islam. In order to understand what that means you should consult : http://xrl.us/bi7kq
16. To David #7. Send Arabs home to Saudi Arabia.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (05.24.08)
You say :"As Jews have been expelled from the vast lands that are now ruled by Arab dictators, ..". David, I am starting to agree with you. The Arabs (i.e. the Israeli Arabs, West Bank Arabs and Gaza Arabs) SHOULD be expelled to Saudi Arabia. LET Saudi Arabia take care of their own kind. SO now, talks should IMMEDIATELY commence ; America should pressure Saudi Arabia to take in the Arabs (i.e. Israeli Arabs, West Bank Arabs and Gaza Arabs). A similar thing happened with the Germans of Europe after WW2. Germany was forced to take in their own kind from Poland, Czech Republic, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia in the second half of the 1940s.
17. Everytime i go to a resturaunt or shopping centre
JAY3 ,   Israel   (05.24.08)
I have to go through a checkpoint. I get delayed a number of times a day because of suicide bomber attacks. Same thing as far as i am concerned. The only ones to blame are the Arab terrorists that try to kill innocent people.
18. To comedian #6 - there are NO qassams in West Bank
Bilal ,   Leeds, UK   (05.24.08)
There are no rockets fired from the West Bank, yet Israel continues to build settlements (stealing Palestinian lands), erect roadblocks (controlling Palestinians), stage incursions and arrest tens of Palestinians every day. Israels actions in the West Bank are terrible but its become such a routine there that the media have stopped talking about it.
19. To #18: The Allon Plan Is the Answer
Dave Levy ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (05.24.08)
To #18: There are no Kassams in the W. Bk, NOW. However, there are terrorists who commit drive-by shootings, plant pipe and other bombs, take snipes at Jews, support terrorism, etc. If the IDF leaves totally, guess what, Hamas and Al Qaeda will be there in short order. What is the matter with your thinking. #18? Left on their own, the W. Bk, will be just another Hamastan, or it' surrogate. No terrorism, no checkpoints. No terrorism, no fence. No terrorism, perhaps a two state solution, as per the Road Map or UN242. Here in Los Angeles there are 60 groups living in peace, side by side, and many quite distince, with their own politics, education, neighborhoods, etc. There are fenced communities, and armed patrols.....and police and sheriff departments. Bottom line: Only the Allon Plan will work in the M.E., giving the Arabs autonomy, under Israel security. Let them run their own affairs...re: settlements..the 5 major ones suffice for security..the rest should be dismantled. Arabs AND Jews Cannot live intermingled..in light of Islamo-fascism (spread of).
20. #18 West Bank/Bilal
Cynthia ,   USA   (05.24.08)
Israel continues to build settlements because Israel believes this is their land. The Palestinians are in no hurry to resolve the conflict. Until the conflict is permanently resolved, it is not illegal for Israel to build. Rockets are not being fired from West Bank because the IDF actively seeks out and disbands terror cells. The IDF has found rockets that have not been launched. Road blocks speak for themselves given the persistent need for Palestinians to terrorize Israel and cross into Israeli terroritory where they do not belong. The media probably gave-up on the Palestinians. The Palestinians whine about their pitiful existence then go out of their way to behave in a manner that perpetuates their declining status.
21. you just cannot trust an Israeli
ragged soul   (05.25.08)
it is alwaysd thus ... Israelis simply cannot be trusted ... 'tis a pity that there is no honour among jews.
22. To Ignorant Soul #21. Honour Is Not Cheap.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (05.26.08)
You say :".. there is no honour ..". My dear Mister, honour has to be earned -- it is not free. Honour is given where honour is due. Honour is not a cheap commodity. BTW in a country, criminals and gangsters want to be respected and honoured by the Police Force -- which is, of course, ridiculous. Criminal means the Police will be chasing him ; there is NO honour when the Police is chasing someone.
