Israel sends supplies to China     Neta Sela
1. Send it to Sderot. China is drowning in money.

2. Israel sends relief to China
I think Israel is constantly doing misplaced Chessed (Charity). Charity starts at home. The education of our children in Israel is at the lowest of the low. Child support plummeted, what about health care? Poverty and unemployment has never been lower. This money should be put into education, housing and jobs. Israeli youth are the future of the state of Israel, WHY INVEST IN THE CHINESE. When Iran attacks us no one will come to our aid. No! Not the USA either!!!!

3. China Saved Tens of Thousands of Jewish Lives
to say it is misplaced charity to help them in their time of need iis pathetic on the parts of the above posters.

4. giving away money.
my opinion is that the little money that israel does have, it should use her themselves. there would be 2 things that i would like to stress on. 1- according to talkback 1 he said china was drowning in money, if that was said about him he would be going crazy. he shouldnt talk like that about chinese, its not there fault that israel; is sending them money point 2- israel also knows that they have a limited amount of money, but the little that they do give to other countries gets them to be in close ties with those countries, so in the future if we do need anything we are more likely to get it

5. China helped Jews during WWII..including my Teachers
All of my teachers in cheder in Montreal survived the war in China, from there they made their way to Montreal. The chinese people are good people as are the Philippino People (10K Jews were taken in diuring WWII). Those posters who post garbage ought to read history, that is if they can read.

6. ISRAEL A SMALL GIANT W/ A BIG HEART!
HOPE CHINA REMEMBERS THIS ACT OF KINDNESS.

7. Very nice, however
it's a pity we don't take care of the children in Israel that go to bed starving every night before worrying about what's going on in China. And what about the Holocaust survivors? they've been living on promises for years and years - I wonder how they feel about $1.5 billion being spent on quake victims in China. I'm not belittling what happened in China, it's simply shocking and sad. But we are not rich enough to flash the cash, especially when there are many many Israelis that are starving. Charity begins at home.

8. #6 The people of Sderot will remember, that's for sure
They don't have proper shelters from the continual rocket fire. There are thousands of children that go to bed hungry and the holocaust survivors are NOT living in dignity - as promised by our government. However, Israel, the super hero of the middle east , is sending $1.5b to China to help them out. Sorry if I sound a little caustic.

9. 35 Take a hike Al
Just because china supposedly saved Jews doesn't mean that the current less forunate population of Israel has to pay for that. The money is needed here.
Israel   (06.01.08)
10. # 9 Not Supposedly, They Did
And given how foreign Jews are to China, the Chinese were remarkably tolerant to the refugees. If you read interviews with the Shanghai Jews, they would never have left if Mao didn't make them. So now that the Chinese have had a calamity that has left hundreds of thousands of their people as homeless refugees, you want to say, "too bad we have our own problems". That's despicable. I'm proud of Israel for sendiing aid to China.

11. Israel sends supplies to China
It is good that we are helping these stricken and shocked people but more could be done by our govt for our own homeless, hungry people as well as our pensioners. I wonder who would help us if a calamity struck. The world would turn a blind eye like they are doing in Sudan.
Marlene ,   Israel   (06.04.08)
12. The worth of supplies is 1.5 Million $, not 1.5 Billion!
Ynet, you've made a mistake about the worth of the supply. its 1.5M$, like it says in the videos itself, and not like it's written in the article. so get things into proportion, its a small act of kindness to keep warm relations with other countries.
