5. They're celebrating YOM YERUSHALAYIM and praying that
G-d grant the Israeli government some brains and they should stop talking about giving parts of Jerusalem away.
American Jews understand it better than Olmert and his anti-Israel government. Hopefully, Olmert will be replaced immediately.

The article says, "The participants, some of which were Americans,..."
We are talking Washington and NY, right? Well, I hate to break it to your readership, but it's not unusual to find a few Americans there. Actually and maybe with the exception of Dearborn, MI and Lodi, CA, this whole place is pretty much run over with them and you can't go anywhere without bumping into a few.
On the other hand, we do have something in common with Israelis: Nobody can say that you can't tell one from the other, because we all look the same :-)
