If US companies and people can sue Iran in US courts you can bet that Iran will sue the US and other countries (like Israel) in their own court. Then when the countries fail to come and defend themselves in such a biased setting - the courts will declare a default ruling for Billions against anyone that had the audacity to want Iran not to have the bomb. A newspaper or media outlet can even publish something false if there is absence of malice, there is no basis for liability. Also, if you can't say anything that is true even if it damages an industry, what ever happened to your first amendment rights. People even on TV say damaging, true things all the time and no one is sued. The problem comes when someone says something that isn't true that causes damages. This is as old as common law. Now many have tried to shut people up with the threat of a suit, but they are not going to win if one has good documentation.
