We, like the idiots we are, talk about a ceasefire which is not in the county's interest & at the same time, threaten military action which never actually occurs. Abbas talks to Hamas - a policy which raises his popularity & is favoured by all our good friends in Egypt & Saudi Arabia. Now comes Ms Rice - undoubtably to pressure us for more concessions & no major military action in Gaza. It might disturb the "peace process" ...... No matter that Hamas continues to attack us almost daily. But Hamas isn't stupid (crazy perhaps, but not stupid) - they know that our idle threats to attack them actually put pressure on Abbas to negotiate with them & to be more flexible. And if Abbas eventually compromises enough & joins with Hamas, the pressure on us will be to continue the "peace process" regardless. Abbas will be the public face of Hamas, the "respectable" cover - behind which, Hamas will continue terrorism. But if we take counter-measures against Hamas, it will be perceived as an attack on "moderate" Mr Abbas. And don't doubt that Ms Rice will go along with it. This gov't. of Olmert/Livni/Barak is in total disarray. It is inept, incompetent, & preoccupied with it's own survival. Our national interests are being sacrificed for the short-term political interest of a bunch of corrupt party hacks.

Israel sends in one or two IAF jets or helicopters to maybe take out one or two rocket shooters and sights. And they send maybe some troops and tanks no more then five miles or less into the gaza. Well you know when people keep getting hit, there comes a time when they say thats enough. Hummas think that they can get away with out being hit back. They are acting like the NAZI did in world war two. We believe them and look where it got us. No more, if the IDF should mount an operation then the hummas them selves are to blame.
