First ever Arab-Muslim becomes kibbutz member    Arnon Lapid
31. #26 and all very sad
So you find it sad that the kibbutzim have allowed a non-Jewish member - those kibbutzim who you erroneously claim "pushed again Arab labor and for pushing Arabs out of the country". Again, it is astonishing to see so little awareness of the foul stink of racism attached to your words. They have distinct overtones of the Romanian Codreanists of whom, I suppose you would be proud as a movement which pushed to eradicate its country of what they deemd the "foreign asiatic elements". Well said, Aharaon. You are a a shining star to the racists worldwide.

32. Another stupid move by the kibbutzniks...what else is new?
Dale ,   USA   (06.12.08)
33. Stupid! It has nothing to do with that or this individual
however, the facts remain the same -the Arabs as the people who surround the Jews in their 22 dictatorial, corrupt and very, ugly Arab regimes want to see the Jews either drowned in the Mediterranean or expelled from their historical homeland.

If you love the Arabs so much how about letting all the Arabs that are here & threatening our lives & our children's live immigrate to England & make London their capitol? Fair trade after all it is you people who created this mess with your mismanagement of the "Palestine" Mandate. It was England who tore off 80% of the former mandate & created the artificial entity called Trans-Jordan now called Jordan which by the Balfour declaration & by League of Nations was to be for a Jewish homeland. We owe the Arabs nothing as they have 22 sovereign states & we have only one that was divided by the Brits which 80 % went to the Arabs. Are there Jews in Jordan or Saudi Arabia? So why should Arabs be here? So if they are unhappy let them go to any of their 22 states or let them go to England!!

35. Arab joins kibbutz
Stop making a big tzimis out of something which actually happened many years ago. They were just legalizing something which has been true for years. Good luck to them all. This reminds me of what happened in Kfar Glickson 50+ years ago when I attened an ulpan there. Arabs had free access to the kibbutz, worked in the apple orchards etc. I was told that during the War of Independence the Arab village adjacent to the kibbutz saved Jewish lives and helped defend the kibbutz and in gratitude, the members of the village were always welcome in the kibbutz. I don't know if the kibbutz still exists or the Arab village is still there . Kfar Glickson was about 1k from Givat Atta and about 5 km from Binyamina. If anyone knows I would love to know the present situation.

36. I'm Shocked
Kibbutzniks are the most insulated people I've ever met. I didn't know they would except Israeli Jews they didn't know.

"I don't know if the kibbutz still exists or the Arab village is still there . " You possibly refer to Kafr Qari - and if you wish to find out what happened... a simple google search should help you to see how much land was taken (13,793 Dunams out of 18,100 dunams).

No , she did'nt refer to your qary . Kfar Glikson still exists , has B & B facilities . Normally i would'nt have called you a person , a tswaiwiesedige behaime , as my Mother Z.L. , would say , is more appropriate . Google it to find the explanation if you want . Good people will understand and agree

What kind comments you write. I don't need google to understand that your pidgin yiddish means a two faced beast - so thank you very kindly for that. I didn't realise that YNET was a place for Yiddish improvement lessons - but now I know, I shall look forward to your future lessons on the use of the subjunctive and Russian loan-words in Yiddish. If you had read my note, the American bint referred to a nearby Arab village... hence my reference to Kafr Qari and the 76.2% of its land which was expropriated. Zei gezint, un gey liggen geshwint

The article says Amal is a nurse and came to the kibbutz 18 years ago for employment. Perhaps she came to the kibbutz to get away from an abusive husband and to support herself and her children on her own. The kibbutz is now her home. The fornication is in your mind. And maybe she will meet a nice Israeli man on the kibbutz.

42. Kibbutz
Might the beginning of a mutually beneficial peace begin with an interfaith kibbutz? Imagine the friendships, understanding and partnerships that would grow and prosper for all????
