I don't know how their qualities compare, but I'd certainly prefer Israel buy California pistachios rather than Iran's. That said, I wonder if the US similarly "slams" the Swiss or the Chinese for their oil and gas deals, or the Germans for their sale of precision equipment. I suspect not.
