The Arabs, just like the Israelis, are not monolithic in their views (a fact that should be evident given the strife between Fatah and Hamas, the Lebanese civil war, and countless other examples). I voted for Bush twice and celebrated Rice's appointment. Unfortunately, Bush/Rice have abandoned their strong post-9/11 positions like - we will treat those who shelter and aid terrorists as terrorists - and have reverted to a policy reminisent of Jimmy "the Jew Hater" Carter. I am ashamed of their reversal and of Rice's Chamberlin like statements during the past couple of years. It is shameful, just like when they tried to sell our ports to Islamofacists.
