Leftists' solidarity regatta beached    Roi Mandel
1. Make those names public!
Salute to boat captain! He had every right in the world to refuse sailing. After all he’s the only authority on board of the ship in high seas and his orders are the law on a vessel. But I would suggest further action and publicize a list of names of those individuals participated in disgraceful event. These names should have been listed in a captain’s log and it’s a public knowledge document. I challenge y-net (or any other media outlet that claims to being objective) to publish that list.
Michael ,   Moscow, US   (06.16.08)
2. Goofy Leftists should take their carnival to Rafah crossing
where there is no Israeli control or Israeli police or IDF, so no one will object to their display of keffiyahs and PLO flags. Let these protestors take their grievances to those who control the southern border of Gaza, namely the Egyptians. I am sure they will be more than interested in what they have to say (not!)
Jake   (06.16.08)
3. Siding With The Enemy
What escapes the peaceniks/deathniks (in their deluded minds) is the main salient point - the Gazans are NOT besieged because of the Jews .The gazans are besieged because of THEIR terror directed against Jewish civilians. HOWEVER, Ynet has decided that placing this piece of info in context does NOT matter. Therefore, I would have let them set sail, but would have sabotaged the boat They would have deserved it!!
Adina Kutnicki   (06.16.08)
4. Leftist idiots don't know that Hamas would kill them....
just because they're Jews! There's no difference between Hamas and Nazis. The Israeli government should expel ALL traitors during war time, and the war against the Jews which started before 1948 has never ended.
Nannette ,   London   (06.16.08)
5. Adam Keller Is An Irrelevant Loser
Just wait until the Philistines complete development of missiles that can hit his house in Holon. The only way that won't happen is if the right stops them.
Yishai Kohen ,   YeShA, Israel   (06.16.08)
6. Ever seen Palestinian activists protest against Kassams?
Neither have I.
Tahl ,   Israel   (06.16.08)
7. LEFTISTS has a synomym TRAITORS
(06.16.08)
8. Human rights cause not = to Palestininan cause
There is a big difference between militating for Human Rights and militating for the Palestinian cause. Holding the Palestinian flag makes you a militant of the Palestinian cause and nothing else period; thus making you a probable enemy of the State. Because of the circumstances Israel lies at the moment, this flag should be illegal in Israel because it alludes to the extermination of Israel - If you don't believe me read the Hamas, PLO and Islamic Jihad charters, and watch Palestinian TV and read Palestinian press and have a chat with Palestinians; non have a problem telling you that Israel should be wiped out of the map. These same so called human rights activists have never had anything to object about it. Sickening ...
Ben ,   london   (06.16.08)
9. The keffiyehs and the Palestinian flags crossed a red line
I commend the boat captain for his refusal to sail with those traitors. It's one thing to work to lessen the suffering of the innocent on the "other side". But the keffiyeh marks them as fellow travelers with the Palestinian "resistance" - i.e. the terrorists - and the Palestinian flags show whose interests they care about.

10. quid pro quo?
all this talk of a "siege" and of a "ceasefire" is all equally so much bilge! has a single day gone by without rockets or mortars fired at israeli civilians? shooting at civilians is a war crime, by the way, and should be prosecuted by the international court in the hague, when they're not too busy grandstanding and falsely condemning israel. and who is doing the firing? it can only be the "poor palestinians", who complain about food shortages, but don't seem to ever run out of hatred or bullets. perhaps those same tunnels, that smuggle in 10 tons of arms every month, could be used to bring in food? but hamas prefers to milk the "dire situation" for propaganda purposes. there will be a lot more sympathy for the plight of the people of gaza, when sderot and ashkelon are no longer under fire. it would seem that these "peaceniks" don't live on the same planet as the rest of israel... there is no "ceasefire" until the arabs STOP FIRING, so why shouldn't israel attempt to block reinforcements and ammunition from reaching her enemies? why don't these "peace activists" chain themselves to a daycare or a school near the border until it's safe for the children who live there?
tom ,   toronto, canada   (06.16.08)
11. Tahl # 6 , That's the problem
They have'nt their "Shalom achshav" . If they had , they would immediately be "liquidated"
bar ,   Israel   (06.16.08)
12. Ship of Fools
These delusional imbeciles wearing kaffiyehs and flying the Palestinian flag are the reason why some of us are no longer the radical leftists we once were.
NYC Girl   (06.16.08)
13. Hurray for the boat owner/skipper
... who likely served in Israel's Navy and has no sympathy for the Palestinians... and may have done missions to confiscate weapons intended for the Gazans or to maintain freedom for Israeli shipping.
fisherman ,   California USA   (06.16.08)
14. It is not Israel who is blocking Gaza
Egypt has 11 km of bordert with Gaza, israel has 50 km. Hamas wants Israel destruction and shoot missiles to kill israeli civilians. Why should we open the doors to assassins? What about egyptian border with Gaza? So, leave israelis in peace, and go to Egypt to ask for the fuel, food and medicines we deliver to ex-egyptians who call themselves palestinians. Such hypocrisy is too much. Iran wants a terror entity in Gaza to raise oil prices, though Western ships crossing Suez channel will be replaced by oil pipelines and trucks moving around the west-east border on a dynamic change since the fall of Stalin in the 50's. It is time to stop using oil, and then there will be peace in Middle East.
Marcelo ,   World   (06.16.08)
15. Shouldn't be too difficult to find
someone to take over that boat and drop ALL the Left-wingers off in Gaza and leave them there with their friends for good AND ISRAEL WILL BREATH A SIGH OF RELIEF!
Miriam ,   Israel   (06.16.08)
16. Remove their passports
Remove their passports and give them one-way tickets to their beloved Gaza.
Zion   (06.16.08)

19. Those of you who were there...
We don't want you here, if you hate your country so much PLEASE LEAVE!!! No one is forcing you to stay here. Or maybe you should just move to Sderot or somewhere were you can see the true face of your so called friends.
Seth ,   Gilo, Israel   (06.17.08)
20. The grizzly reality of such a shameful event....
