3. musician?
sir shlomo ,   israel   (06.25.08)
"McCartney, 66, is considered one of the most influential musicians in the past 100 years." Yeah, his bass playing is right up there with Mingus and Ron Carter. He's known for his songwriting, ynet.
4. Paul Concert
Yael ,   Hadera, Israel   (06.25.08)
I was in Liverpool for the Liverpool sound concert and saw Sir Paul. I made the trip especially for this concert not knowing of the plans to have a concert in Tel aviv. I recommend this fab experience to everyone. Those who grew up with the Beatles and those who didn't but heard about them(from parents or grandparents) I plan on going to this one too though NOTHING can top seeing Paul in his native Liverpool.
5. How about "The Beach Boys" and Chuck Berry
jason white ,   afula,israel   (06.25.08)

Thanks, Paul.
7. After being treated so shabbily by Heather Mills, I am glad
Rivkah   (06.26.08)
to see Paul McCarney getting on with his life and career she was such a hindrance to. He deserves to be happy like he was with his wife Linda. It grieves me that no one told Paul and Linda about the German clinics that elevate body temperature to kill cancer viruses. Linda should have gone there for her breast cancer and maybe she would have lived longer. When Ronald Reagan was President, he went to Germany in 1985 to have cancer treatment there secretly. Instead of dying, he lived another 19 years. Barbra Streisand and Suzanne Sommers also went to the German clinics for elevated body temperature treatments for breast cancer I read. If only Linda had gone there. What a happy pair they were, but he has memories to lighten his days.
8. 2 - seems like you have no understanding or history or music
redmiike ,   Tel Aviv, London, LA   (06.26.08)
9. #7 Rivka for once we agree about something
Simon ,   TA the free city   (06.26.08)
Well theres a turn out for the books. I agree with your comments! It seems music can unite people even the relgious and gay people as in the words of Paul McCartney "Let it Be"
10. The more you wannabee goyim the less you
Al   (06.26.08)
will fight for Israel. Its start with their supposed culture...There is nothing to be learned from the goyim, save shooting hunting beer drinking and horse riding, all of which I do quite well. To all you wannabee goyim, leave Israel so Jews like me will feel welcome here. I will never ever goto a land dominated by wannabee goyim..I'd rather stay in a land run by real goyim. At least they can brew a decent beer.
11. # 10 Al

I have a place that I think will meet your criteria. Boro Park, Brooklyn. There you can live among all those pious Jews, who have absolutely no desire to emulate the non-Jews, and who sit and pray all day because it's a lot easier than fighting like even the most secular Israelis do. And, best of all, you can still get very good beer in Brooklyn.

13. Messianics not ok but McCartney ok?
Gilbert Burton ,   St. Louis, Missouri   (06.27.08)
I don't get it - he sings about worshipping Hindu gods riding in the sky everything he sings is 100% anti-judaic and pagan, and yet it's ok for him to sing in Israel?
14. # 13, You Have Paul Confused With George Harrison
Beatles Fan ,   USA   (06.28.08)
George wrote and sang "My Sweet Lord, " a song of adoration to the Hindu god Krishna. I don't see anything anti-Judaic in Paul's or Beatles' tunes. Most Israeli Jews are secular and enjoy the music. .. No hard feelings.
15. 13. he is singing songs...he has a right to believe what he
(06.28.08)
wants as long as he doesn't try to force down my throat that I must believe in a Christian god to be a "completed jew." That's offensive and annoying...
16. McCartney
Beatles fan ,   Norway   (06.29.08)
On the album "The Beatles Anthology 3" Paul McCartney says Shalom at the end of the song "Dig a Pony".
