Mahmood If the US carried out airstrikes against Iran it wouldnt be just the neuclear sites it strikes The Iranian navy would be destroyed while its shipes are docked just like Pearl Harbour. The Iranian would suffer very heavy damage Its missle program would be put back years Its neuclear program would be history Iran will suffer alot of humiliation if the US caried out airstrikes. Alone Israel may not be able to do the kind of damage the US can but anything Israel sucseeds in doing however big or small would be a huge humiliation to Iran, after all Ahmadinijads threats and tough talk and Israel still attacked and caused some damage. When the arabs lost the wars in 1948. 1967 and 1973 it wasnt the loss of territory that got to them it was the humiliation of defeat. The arabs didnt need that land back but they wanted it to help get over the humiliation. The hardest thing for Ahmadinjad to get over would be the humiliation of the attack. The more we humiliate the arabs and persians the better Israel will be .. when they are down you kick them harder to teach them not to mess with you again if they dont want more of the same.

if it is OK for the world to acknowledge that there are some 150 Nukes in Israel and that this has been confirmed by Olmert and President Jimmy Carter. Surely then Ahmadinejad as a founding member of the NPT has a right to be allowed his Nukes to stare down the combined threat of the US and Israel! Iran under the Shah and with the help of the US and Israel had embarked on building nuclear facilities. When the Mullahs came into power however they stopped all nuclear activities. That Ahmadinejad has breathed new life again into Iran's nuclear facilities does in no way obliterate/diminish Iran's inalienable rights under the NPT. Jake, what do you recommend? Any ideas on how Israel can survive an attack from an Iran armed with nukes? I swear there are no good options but to do nothing is only putting off the inevitable until it's worst. I agree with you about the worthless Olmert, he is Israel's Jimmy Carter and maybe even worst. I feel strongly that America should be right by Israel's side if this rumored attack goes down. Israel should not have to go it alone. I am a true friend of Israel and I can't completely comprehend how the Persians could hate the Jewish people that have contributed so much to our planet. Just like you, I really would like to see peace on earth.

This supersedes Bush and the EU. There is no doubt in anyone's mind about the global danger of a non-cooperative and threatening nuclear Iran. For all we know, countries may already be aligned with specific assignments associated with a strike.
