And that's in addition to him (the former mayor of Jerusalem) agreeing to split Jerusalem with Abbas. first of all, hezbollah will actually think twice about abductions because of the last lebanon war. secondly, the families deserve everything to be done. thirdly, the release of kuntar is good. he is worthless and israel is just paying for his lodging. its laughable that hezbollah is 'celebrating' the release of a child killer, and it will make many arabs think twice about what they stand for, especially when the exchange is for two young men, outstanding and loved by their familes who were actually human beings (even if they are now dead). when looked at from an outsider perspective, this deal benefits israel and puts closure to the lebanon war.
