1. You were surprised? Really? Stupid is as stupid does, & you
are stupid if you ,   were surprised!!!   (07.02.08)
2. Terror Attack Questions
Annonymous ,   USA   (07.03.08)
One needs to wonder if this attack is unconsciously related to the Gay Pride march. One needs to wonder what occurs in the Islamic psychie when such impressions are perceived. Perhaps such impressions are more than the Islamic psychie can handle? Perhaps they pollute? Clash of Civilizations?
3. israeli resurgence needed
alex   (07.03.08)
Look at the excitment of the Columbian rescue. Israel used to be that way even with mishaps it tried with bold moves. Now we have bunch of tired, defeatist, spent leaders of israel-Olmert, Barak,Hanegbi, ramon, hasson,bar-on. Israel begs the UN, the US , the EU, Russia and doen't do anything. Instead it makes concession after concession. Take action. No concessions. Forget about demographics. Return to the values of the founders. You cannot change the leadership's skills. Olmert is a coward in PM's clothes, Barak did everything he could as a commando, he has nothing left, most the MKs are olmert or job asskissers. They reflect Olmert who does most things for selfish reasons or out of fear.Enough. Change the rotten leadership. If Livnin had any guts she would resign from the government as Yatom did to separate herself from her rotten colleagues.
4. First impulses often wrong....
Ilan ,   Ariel   (07.03.08)
The first impulse may be "Why the hell were they letting an Arab drive a piece of heavy machinery?". That is, with a little consideration dead wrong. 99% of the Israeli Arabs do their work with out intentionally trying to cause harm. Being Israeli with a large vehicle is in itself a dangerous combination, but..... We live with the Arabs and many if not most are fine people. The problem is that between Fatah and the Islamic movements an anti-Jewish message has gained legitimacy in the community.
5. Absolute victory.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (07.03.08)
Based on theWorld War II experience, “absolute victory” has come to mean vanquishing the enemy – not merely defeating its army and effecting regime change, but forcing its acceptance that the vision that led to its aggression and the system that sustained it were at the end. Victory is needed to prove to the Muslims in general and the Arabs in particular that against their ethos of death stands the ethos of life, protected by the arms of democracies that are resolved to punish them where it hurts most as explained at : http://xrl.us/biz8x
6. to robert ---5
nansy ,   jerusalem   (07.03.08)
it is done by one he is araby and moslem and palastinian and from jerusalem and has one father and one mother .so kill all the mothers and all the fathers who are at first palastinians from jerusalem then from all the palastine then from all arab states and from all the stes on the earth ,then start to kill the fathers and mothers from the moslem coutrys .. oh it is not horrible but it is your illusional democrocy and free . they started by iraq but still it is not finished ..
7. no 100 % security possible , never .
bar ,   Israel   (07.03.08)
This was already said many years ago . You can't put an police officer behind every person . If someone wants to act individually , without a connection to any terrorist group , you can't prevent this . The best police can't have any information on a resolute lonely murderer .
8. Alex , # 3
Bar ,   Israel   (07.03.08)
Take actions , you wrote . What kind of actions do you propose . Give a constructive and possible solution . Otherwise don't criticise .
9. #8 He gave yu the solution in the first 2 sentences.Perhaps
it was to deep for ,   you to fathom? Ha!   (07.03.08)
10. # 7 is right
J K ,   NYC, USA   (07.03.08)
This is unfortunately the kind of attack that cannot be stopped. A 'lone gunmen' who takes it upon himself to commit and unspeakable act and kill and maim as many as possible. The only worry is this will become the new preaching of the terror organization.
11. To anon # 8
Bar ,   Israel   (07.04.08)
Thinking that you can compare the situation regarding hostages , in Colombia to this in gaza , only shows your ignorance regarding this matter . If there was any possibility to act here as it was done there , be sure , the IDF would have acted PS Israeli [ and US regarding drugs ] Intelligence officers made this liberation in Colombia possible
12. #11 He was talking about us being on the offensive like we
used to be!! ,   Time to wake up now!   (07.04.08)
13. to 12

16. #15 Ha!! I am remaining anonymous cause it really pisses you
off!! Ynet does NOT ,   require a name!!!   (07.06.08)
17. 16 , be polite when talking to your superior
bar ,   Israel   (07.06.08)
