You confuse "Operation Litani" ,which Israel launched in March 1978 and after which the IDF remained in southern Lebanon for about 3 full months(following the hijacking of an Egged bus by 8 Palestinians whose head was "Dalal Mugrabi") with Operation Peace For Galilee which Israel launched to invade Lebanon in early June 1982 and in which the IDF besieged Beirut for some 3 months before finally ejecting the PLO out of Lebanon once and for all... The "Sabra-Shatilla" refugee camps massacres occurred after Lebanese president-elect "Bashir Gemayyel" was blown apart in Beirut around mid September 1982 after the PLO was completely driven out of Lebanon... Better be sure of facts and dates before daring commenting...
