Naturally, led by France, who else? Behind all the pretty public rhetoric is a plethora of policies that promote the surrender of Western values & culture to the Islamic world. And, I'm not being alarmist or just Islamophobic. There are a number of serious scholars & journalists who see through the facade of rhetoric & analyse the bureaucratic jargon given by Eurocrats & their effect in practice. Among them is Bat Ye'or who has written extensively on the subject. One example is the limitation of free speech, only of course, limited for those that criticise Islamic ideology. There are big bucks behind this new Club Med - even The Economist magazine has a lead article praising "Mediterranean integration" & The Economist is the voice of the European business elite who see things in purely economic terms, not cultural or civilizational. Never fall for rhetoric - the devil is always in the details.

all the nations that dont have them agree israel should give up its deterrant and france should keep its deterrant-they like french recipes?Even khaddafi looks smart having already agreed with US to disarm.

Why start with Israel? Israel has fought several wars since acquiring nuclear weapons and has never once even threatened to use them. Iran, on the other hand, is continually threatening to annihilate Israel. And, frankly, anybody who believes that Israel is the threat when you have all these maniacal Arab and Muslim regimes, either has a screw loose or a very dodgy agenda.

Isnt it amazing that all the countries in the region without nukes are enemies of Israel who is the only one that has them. As for Sakorzi it was France that hellped Israel develop its neuclear program and France has nukes of its own so why doesnt France lead the way. Syria, Egypt, Iran are just a few of the countries known to have chemical weapons who are also terrified to use them knowing that while Israelis sit in their sealed rooms wearing their gas masks and the chemicals will eventualy disperse when Israel retaliates there will be mushrooms above their state. Countries like Egypt & Syria the former superpowers of the region from the 50's - 70's they are the ones that introduced WMDS. Saddam Hussian has used chemical weapons on more than one occasion. Egypt id the one that introduced balistic missles to the region in the 60s in Nassers desire to use chemical weapons on top of missles developed by former Nazis to wipe out Israel. Its like Libiya saying that North America should be a region free of WMDS. convenient the fact that Gadafi has now been forced to abandon his neuclear program but his enemy the US has possibly the largest stockpiles of nukes in the world. Sounds very much like he is a great peacemaker but its only his enemy who ends up affected and weakened by this wonderfull agreement.
