1. A legal question for anybody out there ..
I would like to understand how the 'right to remain silent' relates to Shula Zaken.
She has so far insisted on remaining silent.
How long can she continue to do this and what will be the likely repercussions of having done so?
thanks
Michael

I hope it's not like in America where you can choose to remain silent until hell freezes over, and the only repercussion is that everybody will think you're guilty. Unfortunately, the only place it counts is with the jury and they're instructed not to interpret refusal to testify as an admission of guilt.

5. When you get everything for nothing you give away Israel for
Nothing! The perponderance of evidence against the pm (I hate writing his evil name)leads me to the undeniable conclusion he will do nothing unless his personel gain is involved. The taurine excreta that exudes every time he opens his mouth is staggering! How do we know he is uttering a prevarication? His lips move, of course.
Our soldiers who died(read hero's) were commanded in the north by a narcacistic weasel who would sell his mothers gold fillings from her teeth for any profit he could aquire. He has no sense of decency so the shameful act of trading live murderers for dead bodies has no moral repugnace. He is a legend in his own mind, a man without any morality or honor trying to strangle the only honorable country in the middle east. Our leader is a sociopath of the highest order. May Hashem help Israel, our PM is too busy helping himself.

6. #1 and #4
In Halacha, there is a concept of "Shteeka K'Hoda'a" which means "silence (when accused) is admission".
I do not know if this applies in all cases all the time, but according to the simple understanding of this principle, a person has to provide a defense for himself or, if by his silence he makes no defense, the law assumes the accusation to be true.
Quite the opposite of Goyishe law.
