When it comes to appease the allies the Iranians dont have the capacity to develope anything more than 875 miles missiles..............but when it comes to imposing sanctions or to increase the same,the Iranians have far too longer range missiles...................I don't undestand this.....................do they have them or not? :)

The state of IRI's military forces is the same today as it was 10 years ago. Short of being able to build AND correctly fire test missiles, propaganda is still the cheapest way to scare the world. There is NO Islamic army able to compete even with a medium size european nation...not even talking about Israel. 2/3 of Iramian Air Force is grounded including 2/5 of these 2/3 which has been grounded for over 16 months.....but of course the CIA and other "responsible agencies" do know that ! Mao Ze Dong would have called Nazinedjad an Islamic Paper Tiger !

An irrational nuclear Iran in the region is not conceivable. A stable nuclear balance of power/balance of terror in the Middle East would be out of the question (nuclear proliferation in the M.E. could never create the same sort of stable equilibrium that was once obtained between the USA and USSR). Israel must remain the region’s only nuclear power. Moreover, Iran's program should not become a powerful proliferation driver, building on regional rivalry security concerns and one-upmanship.

Why does Iran need any if it wants to live in peace with its neighbors? The only use for these missles is for war and if they can hold a nuclear payload how can Iran claim they don't want the bomb? Even convential missles are dangerous to EU and Israel , Iran must be stopped in anycase either by sanctions or force!

What Iran needs and should not have era has passed,Millicent.Trust me on that and I wont' let you down.Obviously,various factors will determine what Iran will do,but it is certain that whilst they are not persuing the bombs,it is absolutely certain that Iranians will not fold their arms and allow suppressive policies towards it continue indefinitely.It is either accepting Iran as a regional power or else it will prove to be whether someone likes it or not.
