As an Israeli-Arab, I strongly object to building an exclusively Arab city in Israel. I believe that Jews and Arabs should be free to live anywhere in the country and not in segregated communities. Leaders who support this project, whether Jews or Arabs, do not have the best interest of the country in mind. The reality is, we all are destined to live together , leadership should have the vision to plan for this common future.

There are a growing number of arabs in Israel that want the Galalee either as an indipendent entitiy from Israel. Either a fully indipendent state or some degree of law making authrotiy indipendent from Jerusalem. Building whole new exclusive arab cities in the Galalee is only going to add support to this demand. The solution is integration not more seperaation. How many jews in the big cities can say that they share an apartment block with an arab? If the arabs want to live in Israel they need to make more of an effort to integrate into society not live in their own gehtoes they also need to be required by law to do some kind of civiian national service. If the arabs dont want to integrate then they need to ask themselves if they belong in Israel at all. There are alot more worthy projects to spend that money on than the creation of an arab super gheto
