I am 100% against Iran having nukes. That would be a terrible reality to deal with. But saying that this should be done to prevent Iran from giving nukes to Hamas would make the case against Iran a laughing stock! Gillerman needs to learn to shut his mouth. He could have shred Carter's actions to pieces; but no ... he launched a personal attack against a US President in New York!!!!!!!

I disagree with him on a number of points. 1. I think it's time to stop the mindless uttering of slogans on peace with Palestinians. Why continue the charade when few realistically believe it's possible? These slogans sound good at the UN but actually do us harm by not promoting a more realistic approach. Our differences with the Palestinians are irreconcilable. 2. Hezbollah - if there is a risk of Iran giving WMD's to Hezbollah then obviously the answer is to eliminate Hezbollah. The same goes for Hamas in Gaza. If this leads to open conflict with Syria & Iran, we should be prepared to go all-out & finish the job once & for all. We will pay a price, there will be consequences but much, much less than if we do nothing. 3. Stop repeating the unsupported assertion that the Arab states will somehow be "friendlier" to us because of Iran. Historically, everything tells you the opposite. Whatever the internal disputes & rivalries among Muslims, they will always use us as the external enemy.

The fear is not that iran will directly attack Israel with nukes, but will provide dirty bombs to Hamas and hezbollah to use against us.Iran know that should it launch nukes against Israel ,Israel would respond in kind against Iran . But against hamas and hezbollah how could you respond with nukes there, Hamas is too close to Israel's borders, we still have residents living close by there, as we do near the border with Lebanon, that is the true danger that nukes /dirty bombs fall into hamas or hezbollah hands!

I am 100% sure that the first party to receive Iranian Nukes will be Hizbo (being part of Iran's external capabilities, led by IRGC officers, and geographically close to Israel and Europe). So I believe Israel should launch a preemptive invasion of Lebanon to uproot Iran's thugs, then hand it over to the Lebanese backed by NATO troops. Then, it'll be Hamas turn, Gaza should be ploughed then handled to PA troops backed by Turkish & Egyptian forces. Hence, I believe that it's imperative to eliminate these surrounding and existential threats each at his turn.
