1. The only conclusion to draw ....
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (07.23.08)
If they could do it to them, they could do it to you. At the rate we're going, with our current political system, we could all end up as refugees. Think about that for a while.
2. How sad :(
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem Israel   (07.23.08)
3. Why should this surprise anyone?
YMBMY ,   Modiin, Israel   (07.23.08)
So what if the national religious camp has dutifully served its country in every possibly way. This government has discarded them like a dirty rag. The new "in" crowd is the Hamas and Hizbullah. That's who this government cares about satisfying. Oh yeah, and shaking Assad's hand. This article is an embarrassment for which nary a word of complaint will be heard from the so-called "Human Rights" groups. At the end of the day, Olmert will be proud that his legal team has protected him in one of the 6 investigations against him and won't give a crap about these people who have done far more for their country than he has.
4. Olmert could donate
(07.23.08)
money received from his friend Mr Talansky. Shula, for your attention, dearie.
5. As one who supported the withdrawal...
Dan ,   USA   (07.23.08)
let me say I was wrong. Very wrong. I apologize to the world and I am ashamed. I believed that the Israel would keep its promises to these people. I believed that Israel would vigorously defend its borders after the withdrawal. That might have made the pain these people suffered worth it. For the national good. But I was wrong, and I hope others who agreed with me with now publicly admit it as well. Is there any organization helping the evacuees?
6. Livni no different than Olmert
Harry   (07.23.08)
They among the whole Kadima party and the rest of parties that supported the expulsion of these good Jews are responsible. Remember lets make sure that Kadima is just a nightmare that we got rid of.
7. The Tragedy of Gush Katif
Brod ,   USA   (07.23.08)
Israel should have never moved out of its historic land of Gush Katif despite all the crap pressures and manipulations of the world of AntiSemites and Islamist-Jihadists. Israel should protect and defend every inch of its GOD-given liberated biblical and historic homeland. GOD fulfilled His Covenant to Israel 2500 years ago of Restoring Modern Israel in Ancient Israel in the 20th century. Jeremiah 31:1-17, Ezekiel 36:24-38, Ezekiel 37:21-28, Ezekiel 39:27-29, Amos 9:14-15. No mortal should dare tamper with GOD's Restoration Covenant of Modern Israel in Ancient Israel. Israel should retake Gush Katif and rebuild it. The residents who were removed from there should once again be returned to their land. They should be compensated as they rebuld the place.
8. How to deal with the parasites
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (07.23.08)
Oh, but they served proudly in the army! Oh, but they had flourishing businesses and industries before their communities were destroyed. Oh, but they were Israel's best of the best. Give these good people the luxury villas of Olmert, Livni, Ramon, and the rest of the Knesset worthless criminals (including Shas) and make the political parasites live in the double wides.
9. Gush Katif
MC ,   UK   (07.23.08)
The government is building a new Arab village in the Galilee. Olmert would uproot the Jews on the West Bank if he could to add to the Gush Katif evacuees/ Nakba is now on the curriculum to teach in schools, Judaism is out. Look where the country is heading! We are committing national suicide on our own, we don't need our enemies to do it for us. Wake up Israel before there is nothing left to wakr up too!
10. Dan #5-you are an evil putz: Terry #1- Oh boy are you right
Adam Eliyahu Berkowi   (07.23.08)
The sad thing is that millions of dollars were allocated to help these people. Where did it all go? The sadder thing is that the same thing is happening in Sderot. Millions of dollars are being spent to help the people. Most of the money goes to feed beauracrats and the left wing "zionist" (anti-israel) machine. The saddest thing is that so many putzes screamed that these communities MUST be destroyed, and yet a terrorist murderer seems exempt from the same treatment.
11. the only solution for our economy
Ivan ,   Haifa   (07.23.08)
Is to make peace. Israelis prefer to suffer economically if the palestinian suffer more, the support gave to netanyau is the proof.
