Having just traveled on El Al, I must say that American Airlines got lucky with this one. Unlike AA, El Al is a class act all the way through, treating its customers with respect and comfort from the point of departure until landing. I hope that this will not change.

this is more so for Jewish families since they separate from their parents on marriage. Both of them have to work in order to meet two ends. In this case, parents will think hundred times before getting second child in to this world. No good for Jews in Jewish country.

Daniel, Thank you for your insightful comments on the recent partnership between El Al and American Airlines.

American Airlines has to be one of the worst airlines for service. You only think El Al is good because you are comparing it to your American air companies which are so cheap you feel like it's rude to ask for assistance and that you need to serve yourself. I've flown El Al a number of times and while Israelis make brilliant pilots they're certainly not known for their hospitality.

You seem to be a bit confused, Daniel. Actually, talking about expensive, well, EL AL is still the most expensive airline serving this country. (Channel 2 News).

This is typical El Al Bullspin. They only fly to ONE city, but it goes into the plural? I never fly ElAl because I don't enjoy being maltreated.

That being said, it is shocking anyone would want to partner with American Airlines. The airline has been nose-diving in every aspect for about the past three years.

Maybe this will somehow help American Jews make aliyah in larger numbers. Maybe we will visit Israel more frequently by being able to be on more planes from different cities? Just a hope of mine.
