I hope that Olmert announces his IMMEDIATE resignation. However, no matter what he does tonight, it is a matter of too little and too late as he has harmed Israel in so many ways during his tenure as Prime Minister. His incompetence during the 2006 war against Hezbollah has caused severe and long-lasting damage to Israel's deterence ability and his cruelty towards the Gaza settlers has been incredible. While he was illegally accepting thousands of dollars from the wealthy in order to live beyond his salary as Prime Minister, he has turned away from the Gaza settlers who were uprooted and tossed aside by the govt. In addition, his inability to help Sderot and his govt's poo-pooing the plight of the residents of Sderot were examples of his callouness and narcissism. Finally, how dare he insult Israelis who have built a vibrant democracy despite a 60 year war for survival. Israelis dont complain any more than any other citizens of other countries. Maybe that's the problem. they should be out in the streets demanding new elections.

the mistake of my life when I listened to my silly wife and foolish children with their lunatic Leftists ideas. That’s when all my troubles began and my highly intelligent political career went haywire. In this mad state of affairs, I advocated the expulsion of 10,000 innocent Jews from their Jewish homes and personally expelled thousands more, released terrorists with blood on their hands, supported them with weapons and armored trucks sweetened with additional money galore. I went into battle against a tiny group of terrorists waging it with silk gloves and paid for it with the lives of 119 Israelis, all this to make a positive impression to the anti-Semitic nations of the world who despise Israel even more than the Leftists here. I was caught red-handed with fraud and bribe - although this is the norm in the knesset which all ministers since Israel’s creation are dependent on. Sadly, I had the misfortune of being discovered because my political policies became crazier by the day. When I was mayor in Jerusalem and somewhat right-wing, I had the respect from quite a large number of people, just the opposite of what they think of me today. As it’s not possible for me to get back to my original self, I am telling you this is a lecture for all politicians – don’t go too much to the Left for your own good and the good of the nation.
