1. All of a sudden, the Israeli police are powerless
when it’s the radical Left-wingers and Arabs protesting, even violently. Why don't they treat them and imprison them like they did to the young girls and other right-wingers who were demonstrating the expulsion of 10,000 Jews from their Jewish homes – and where jailed for 3! years.
It’s about time the country should be taken over by powerful leadership who’ll courageously know what to do with these violent Leftists and Arabs.

2. Rubber Bullets? !!!!
These idiots don’t understand their violent tendencies are the reason for the construction of the fence in the first place. We Israeli’s have suffered through too many intifadas, the fence is a stupid left wing idea. The only true and reasonable way to stop the violence is the total removal of the arabs from inside Jewish Israeli territory.
Theses beasts who riot should remember the Hashemite response to their unruly behavior. The Hashemite totalitarian regime just opened fire with tank cannon and heavy machine guns. Those violent outburst has never been repeated in Jordan. If only the pseudo-intellectuals in the Israeli government would use these machiavellian but effective arab control measures we would not have to build fences. Oh well, the so called enlightened leaders of Israel would rather that innocent Jews die instead of violent arabs

5. YNet, please fire Ali Waked...
1) He publishes unsubtantiated reports based solely on the testimony of Arab witnesses.
2) He refers to anti-Israel gatherings as "protests" and settler gatherings as "riots".
3) He drags down the intelligence of the informed reader with his myopic analyses.
4) If you're looking for a "diversity hire", Druze and Bedouin perspectives are sorely lacking from this news source. Provide them with the voice they deserve and silence those who use our freedoms to unjustly attack us.

hate to break it to you buddy, but no amount of semantic tricks are going to change the fact that druze and bedouins are arabs. the fact that druze practice an offshoot of islam doesn't negate the fact that their spoken language is arabic, as is their culture. and bedouin are sunni muslims found in every arab country.

8. Yonatan, there is some truth in what you say
Though, Israelis, and Jews are held and hold themselves to a much higher standard than those of the Arab world. That has been the case over the last 60 time and time again. Pals have done nothing but stir violence and terror wherever they go, Jordan, lebanon, etc... all the while pathetically blaming any and all their problems on their favorite scapegoat, Israel. No action is ever their fault and any violence is always justified in their eyes, esp those of Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The arab syndrome is a vicious cycle . If it ever breaks they will indeed have a state and prosperity. Terror long preceded occupation and that fact they would love to deny and brainwash the world.

9. arabs illogic
israel builds a fence to keep violent arabs out of israel. arabs try to have israel not build the fence by organizing a riot.
- they're a little behind on the hearts and minds thing.
i say put land mines in front of the fence and shoot anyone who touches it

10. WHAT?!!! Another accidental shooting of a boy
in the head?!!! Our mistake, we'll investigate it, we arrested a guy, we released the guy, not our fault, whatever. I mean, we're also the most moral army in the world, right guys? We only shoot two little boys in the head per week (by accident of course).

He wasn't saying it's his solution but rather Jordan's solution and I might add Syria's solution (ahem, Hama) as well. If you don't like his suggestion then go back to Syria, Egypt, Morocco or wherever you originally came from. Nahariya was built by Jewish people. It was never your home.

18. #10 Does this look like a peaceful protest to you?
And how do you know the IDF shot Ahmed Moussa? The Palestinians haven't produced a bullet nor did they allow an impartial or joint autopsy. So don't be so flip without access to facts. If Palestinians trespass into a military zone, provoke a violent confrontation and sabotage a construction site, they should not be surprised when they get hurt.

22. #7 - johan, Please note that I never said...
Please note that I never said Druze and Bedouins weren't Arabs. The main difference between these two groups and the Israeli Arabs who openly call for the destruction of their country and identify themselves as Palestinians, not Israelis, is that these two groups actually serve in the Army and contribute to our society in meaningful and priceless ways.
While I'm not going to deny that prejudice and discrimination exists against them in spite of what they bring to our society, I am going to say that these two groups offer voices that are rarely, if ever, heard in the usual political discourse that occurs on this website.
I am of the opinion that if we actually offer them a chance to be heard, all readers of this website will be given an insight into Israeli society that will help to break down the barriers they face.
People like Ali Waked, though, who use bottom-of-the-barrel journalistic tactics to spew lies and half-truths against the country that grants them their freedom of the press, should be given one-way tickets to Gaza...

23. # 1 Violent Leftist?
I think you are confused , if anyone is violent, that is the fanatical right wing settlers. You know the ones that attack our security forces , throw nails , oil on the road to cause accidents. And all in the knowledge that a law will be passed to pardon them, thus giving a green light to commit acts of violence. What this country needs is unity , for as long as we are a divided nation we are weak and you have certainly played your part in dividing the nation, judging and slandering anyone who is not a fanatical religious jew.

Hi Ivan,
So whoever thinks different from you is a fascist? Do you know the difference between Fascisms and Stalinism?
They believe the same, they react the same, they both hate everybody who's different, but they identify themselves with different poles from the political spectrum.
You are the same that Meir!
The Jewish proposal for this cases is to give starngers the cahnce to live freely between us always that they respect our ways and laws. If not, they are of course invited to leave or if they dont want to, just expulsed or eliminated.

25. The Big Question that is not Being Asked
Who decides to involve kids in stone-throwing violent protests against soldiers? What kind of insane mindset sends 10-year-old kids out to attack soldiers with rocks and bottles?
That is called the use of child soldiers. IT IS A WAR CRIME.
The village elders & all of the so-called "peace activists" who involve the kids should be prosecuted for bringing kids into this to begin with.

26. #20 - I'm informed
I spent the month of February in the West Bank, including 4 demonstrations at Bil'in. I got to watch up close and personal Israeli soldiers routinely shooting and brutalizing unarmed demonstrators. In most cases there were no rocks being thrown. By the way, I took a rubber coated bullet in the forehead while I was filming with a digital camera.
I was there at a home invasion where masked IOF terrorists were holding a family hostage at gunpoint. Women, children, and old people on oxygen. Brave lads, huh?
History? That land has been in the hands of its Palestinian owners for generations. Your 2000 year old claims don't hold water with me. Perhaps you'll join me there someday, if you can pull yourself away from your TV.

28. #23 simple simon
Boy, is your head screwed up. Its the leftists that introduced a bogus Palastinian people that have caused so much bloodshed and murder to Israeli jews. .....not the right. How many times a day do you see Palastinians and leftist protestors throwing rocks at our soldiers? How many jews have the settlers killed? Yet you claim the settlers are worse.....You are a blind leftist fool as the settlers violence is limited to the very odd occasion, while the Palastinians is daily.
There will never be unity in Israel with morons like you that insist on creating a bogus Palastinian people thats only intention is our demise.
What gets my, especially with gay leftists like you, is that if the Arabs ever controlled Israel and called it Palastine, they would exterminate all gays!
Your choice to support your own demise(left) or support Israels survival(right).

29. Re: #18 Cynthia
Excuses, excuses, excuses. Claim everything, explain nothing, deny everything. If the Palestinians hadn't done this and that, the "soldiers" wouldn't have done this and that. Yeah, I've heard it all before. It's not funny anymore. There was much concern for a while before the killing of Ahmed Moussa (well how do you know that the IDF WASN'T the ones who shot the boy; are you doubting he was shot in the first place? Or are you suggesting that someone else did it? Vague, as usual.) after two instances where your soldiers were caught on tape shooting unarmed (in the second case blindfolded and handcuffed) activists. Such reckless conduct now proves fatal; but the big band of apologists are ready to bring up the usual excuses to absolve their violent friends. What callous people. God save us all.
