DId they forget to mention the birthday cake and birthday party??
Dov ,   Forest Hills, NY USA   (08.06.08)
2. no longer provide services?
I think their offices in Israel should be shut down and , incidentally, their employees deported from Israel. We need to show some spine.
israeli ,   israel   (08.06.08)
3. Good call...I can believe they have a Jewish correspondent..
Dave Marish - the pig.

4. al jazeera
bombs for al jazeera.
alan ,   texas   (08.06.08)
5. Israel to boycott Al Jez.
Great news ! Would be nice if the 2 TV stations here refused to have it as it feeds the dearranged left and those half wits who support Arab terror. Be good if you could do the smae to CNN and BBC because you couldn't put a hair between them.

6. about time! next CNN and BBCaliphate!

7. Good move
I had the honor of attending a lecture by Mr. Seaman and I only wish more people had the balls to do what he does and say what he says. The right will rise again!
Adam ,   Raanana, Israel   (08.06.08)
8. Dave Marash is no longer affiliated with Al Jazeera
Marash announced in April he was leaving Al Jazeera English. Says Wiki, "he cited the loss of editorial control and his inability to vouch for content that the network was broadcasting". What a surprise! And, yes, he has a Jewish background. The BBC, of course, continues to serve as a "farm league" (training ground) for AJ English. So he was quickly replaced.

9. The best thing ever done to Al Jazeera was...
when a US tank launch a rocket in their hotel room, back in 2003 I think... This is what they deserve.
EYS ,   Montreal Canada   (08.06.08)
10. Government to cut ties to Al-Jazeera
They will come up with some excuse, which the Government will "reluctantly" accept. We went through this travesty with the BBC earlier. Some things we never learn.
Ger ,   Raanana, Israel`   (08.06.08)
11. oops, mistake
yes the party was totally a mistake, and they are investigating it. and all those stories about "palestinians" those were mistakes too. and millions of dollars going to help islamic terror? totally by mistake, like 400,000 times. it just keeps happening. they will investigate the matter, just like the nuclear bombs iran will accidentally drop on TA, if we don't do something.

12. Equal treatment please
With Reuters openly admitting they lie in their articles about Israel; with the BBC and the Guardian OPENLY admitting they lie in their articles about Israel, and with CNN OPENLY admitting they lie, why is this being restricted to al jazeera? There are thousands of media throughout the world, most represented here. We have no obligation to provide haven to media that is not news but simply pulp-fiction meant to germinate anti-semitic histrionics.

13. Israel to boycott al-Jazeera again
This AlJazeera is no different than the Toronto Star or the Globe and Mail. Probably a good idea to allow them in. Their articles are less venemous towards Isreal lately. Roger

14. #12 Arie
Well said. Kick 'em out... lock stock and barrel.

15. Who is more despicable?
Al-Jazeera is a repulsive newtwork with no scruples. However, in the case of the terrorist Kuntar, it was Israel's govt. that released the murderer for 2 dead Israelis. Kuntar is now free to murder more Israelis and Hezbollah and Hamas know that Israeli captives can be murdered and Israel will still make deals for the release of more terrorists. So, I ask you, who is more despicable-Israel's govt or the network that celebrated the release of the monster?

16. They did not keep their word for boycotting AL Jazeera
They have been online giving their side of the story , every single day of the week , Since i watch al Jazeera daily . they did not keep their promise .
gisele ,   Beirut   (08.07.08)
17. #16 The only country that boycotts al Jazeerah is Qatar
LOL, the country that owns and hosts al Jazeerah. They sure can deal it out, but they can't take it. Typical hypocrisy symptomatic of the Arab World.
Jake   (08.07.08)
18. Olmert is proud of the deal he did but boycotts Al Jazeera
Olmert releases Kuntar and on record says he thinks it was a good deal. Both Livni & Barak say that trading Kuntar for 2 dead bodies was the right decisions. Now even though they are so proud of themselves for their decision to release Kuntar they are going to boycott Al Jazeera for putting on a festive show to celebrate the deal that Olmert, Livni and Barak are all so proud of. If I were them I would be delighted that Al Jazeera are making these shows a chance to tell myself how smart I had been and that everybody agreed with me.

19. Al Jazeera should be banned everywhere.
It's nothing but a propaganda tool for mad muslims. Osama loves the free advertising and I hate it. Cut them off, and reduce terror. If they want to PAY for advertising, that's another matter.LOL, like they will pay for anything, cheap screws.
Petra ,   usa   (08.07.08)
20. Compromise is needed
From what can be gathered from the contributions in this forum it becomes clear that individual aspirations take precedence over that which benefits the majority. If that trend becomes established on the political horizon woe to all of us.

21. isnt israel already boycotting aljazeera?
