32. If it hurts more then the toe than toe is not hurt at all
Another Arb logic that makes no sense at all
If he were really hurt he would not make this comparison and wouldn't be conscious to care at all about what happens to this officer.

35. Palestinian bounded and asked not to talk
I don't understand why both sides( Israel and Palestinians are defending thier case. the story is . WHY the soldiers opend the fire on a bound man standing 1 Meter far from the soldier. despite the commandor order to do it. but still why? people are asking for more in order to get less. if he was jaild that time this will be a lesson to others not do act agresivley against Palestinian. but. this is the law in Israel. you are Palestinian. you are humlitated !!
from Human rights point of view. this is not acceptable. and rejected. anyhow. i wounder what could happen to the man if B'Tselem Camera was not there...

39. Israel's non-existent "Justice"
A legal system that only gives justice to Jews is not worth anything; a country with a legal system worth nothing is itself worth nothing. Which is not news to most of us but might be disillusioning to a few innocents whose only knowledge of the world comes through watching Fox News and CNN.

42. Soldier's grievious attack should be punished harshly!
I say give him 10 push-ups and make him watch 5 hours of Oprah Winfrey. Ok, ok, the 5 hours of Oprah is too cruel even for him. Alan, you wonderful little lefty wefty, come to Israel and deal with the reality of your arab friend, with the help of Betzelem, attacking Jews, destroying property and all sundry criminal acts. Then, after the fact, acting like little angels that didn't do anything? Your buddy in this article sure looks like such an angel, an angel from hell!

43. #27...
I'll answer your "Question". Shooting a blindfolded man is not brave.....I seriously dont think it was done out of "bravery", and I cannot imagine why you would think that was the cause. Simple fact, he is a person(officer) that made a bad choice. The "Victim"(*sarcasm) was throwing stones, they hurt (and kill if you were ever to get stoned to death). This guy crying about a blister on his big toe is SUCH a drama queen its pathetic. I wouldnt doubt that after the "Victim" was blindfolded and cuffed, he continued to run his mouth with insults (Probably because of the "rights" he thinks he has...just a guess). Those men in uniform have a difficult job everyday not to cross the line. The problem is the punks shouldnt be throwing rocks at anyone let alone armed military...to the point ..the punks have no respect...what in the hell is rock throwing going to achieve besides being a pain in the backside to the targets....SO his big toe was a target and in a few days it will be all healed...Unless its from bad shoes as someone already stated.....cause it looks for like that to me. In that case just get new shoes.

46. part of a bigger problem
I'm saddened to see all these comments that have no sympathy for this Palestinian man. He has no rights under Israel's occupation of the west bank. This means that he can be shot at with no repercussions. He is lucky someone was filming it or nothing would have been done at all. Think about the many more Palestinians abused in this way (or worse) that haven't been caught on camera.
And if the punishment should fit the crime, bind the soldier and shoot him in the foot. Its not 'just' a bruised toe. These things can cause serious damage.
