At least the border crossing is a project that has a potential future use, unlike the settlements on the other side of the wall that everyone knows will eventually be abandoned even as hundreds of millions are invested in them.

Israel's Govt. does not have to prove to the world , much less to Jews ,that a bunch of IDIOTS are running it. It's a well known fact, and Israelis " do nothing " voters are immune to the "prowess' of their favorite sons. Their hard earned money is being put to good use; and it's about time that our " Southerners" realize that taking care of Allah"s children his in their best interest. Umm, Danny, there ARE no settlements on the other side of the wall. This is Gaza - those were abandoned for "peace" 3 years ago. Instead, Israel got 3 years of war - war of attrition, illegal (by every international standard) continuous bombardment of Jewish civilian population centers in areas that everyone agrees are Israeli (except those who want to push all the Jews into the sea, of course). Clearly you are clueless - but you would have Israel do it again in the West Bank, run away for peace and get only war. Sit comfortable in your secure home Danny and spout your foolishness.

NO explanations are needed regarding such insanity from our leaders. Blaming it on international pressure is ludicrous. ALL leaders have to deal with pressures.
