1. Great Thinking....Nature Helped
ME ,   USA   (08.10.08)
I love when Man can take something positive out of nature. ( Lemonaid from Lemons ).. The skunk was good for something after all. Environmentalist and Human rights activists should be Very pleased indeed. Perhaps a better reputation for a skunk ( STILL do not approach / pet ), and more seriously being able to lessen the risk to protesters when they get out of control, and order must be obtained. If it works GREAT! Perhaps it can be used in other countries.
2. I bet the UN will condemn us for forcing them to shower.
LEE ,   NY, USA   (08.10.08)
3. And by tomorrow btselem will demand criminal charges
Arie ,   BaGolan   (08.10.08)
against the skunk innovator. How dare the Jews use WMDs that will utlimately force the leftists and palis to take showers. Devious those Jews!
4. #2 its easy for you to say that, ask the orthodox jews
sami ,   usa   (08.10.08)
5. Could they tell the difference?
Yerushalmi ,   jerusalem   (08.10.08)
Hippie wannabe anarchists are not known for strictest higienic practice... I would say, smell improved... skunk worked like a deodorant.
6. They should make the Skunks' smell stay on those violent
Miriam ,   Israel   (08.10.08)
anti-Israel Leftist protesters for weeks and months.
7. I bet leftist will call it "torture" and run to Bagatz.
Rehavam ,   Israel   (08.10.08)
time will tell.
8. Why don't the police put these VIOLENT LEFTISTS BEHIND BARS?
Miriam ,   Israel   (08.10.08)
These LEFTISTS are the violent brutal ones who always end up HURTING A NUMBER OF OFFICERS, but only the Right-wing peaceful demonstrators are the ones imprisoned or indicted.
9. #6 Miriam - They should use this on the settlers
Simon ,   TA the free city   (08.10.08)
They should use this on the settlers when the time comes to evacuate them from occupied Palestine.
10. Palestinian protesters couldn't blame Skunk,
observer   (08.10.08)
because they know for sure that that was not Skunk's. Don't start the cry of "antisemitism"
11. To Simon # 9
Ricardo Macher ,   KarneiShomron Israel   (08.10.08)
Dear Simon, Your comment is really not something that I would have published. You are making some mistakes about facts in life: 1) "Chinat Chinam" is exactly what you are doing attacking a group pf people you may agree or not with but sure settlers have nothing to do with "Skunk" 2) There is no such thing as palestine, therefore it is impossible to speak about "occupied palestine" 3) You proudly write that you live in "TA the free city", please don't forget that the only reason TA is free is because Tzahal and the settlers defend our country, if it was not for that, if you were living, it would be in an arab village. Kindly try to think before you send comments!
12. #9-Simon-Perhaps youd feel more at home in teheran?
Arie ,   BaGolan   (08.10.08)
The last time we noticed, the penalty for being gay in an arab environment is hanging! As for TA being the free city, what it is free of is any dedication to our survival. Maybe we should offer it up to abbas in exchange for a location worthy of IDF protection!
13. ‘Skunk’ as new crowd-dispersal means
Yonatan ,   Jerusalem   (08.10.08)
the stink stays in Tel Aviv
14. No. 10 Observer
NYC Girl   (08.10.08)
How can anybody "start the cry of anti-Semitism" when they can't even decipher what the hell you just wrote. Perhaps you'd like to try it again in English this time.
15. #10.... Too Literal perhaps?
ME ,   USA   (08.11.08)
I think perhaps it is named "Skunk", because it uses the same " Idea, or reasoning " behind / how a skunk defends itself.....Something bothers it..its sprays unpleasant odors in liquid form thus usually discouraging the bothersome .....Its totally a defensive measure. This is no different than man observing a bird and thinking / mastering flight...many more examples....
16. stinks , stinks , stinks!
(08.11.08)
why didn't they try to hide it
17. Another contribution of the IDF to peace and human values?
Ari   (12.09.11)
Just kidding.
