4. Shahar does PR for the masses, but..
When my husband and son were at the Rogers cup in Montreal in August, they waited an hour for her to finish practicing on her off day, and called to her in English and Hebrew to sign my older's son brochure. No one else was waiting for her. All the other players were obliging. We had hoped to see her play the next day. We had even packed our flags for her match. Well, not only did she not get off her cellphone the whole time after the practice, but she looked up when they called her, made no sign to them, and kept on talking. At the end, she walked right by them, despite their pleas. She disappointed my son and lost a fan. Needless to say, we have no respect for her now, and will remember how she sucks up only when it benefits her.
