1. Secular idiots should worry about an ARAB takeover!!!!!!!!!!
|
|
2. #1 The Arabs aren't the ones forcing us from our homes
When they come for Tel-Aviv, we'll see if you're still so brave.
If they can open their institutions in our neighborhoods, why cant we open our institutions in theirs? Why cant we establish a Zionist Memorial Museum in the heart of Me'ah She'arim, or a secular library in Bnei Brak?
They demand tolerance, but they have no tolerance for us. In fact, they have nothing but contempt for us.

3. Secular residents Vs Hasidic Kindergarden
#1 Have you ever lived in an area that the Haredim took over? Well I have and let me tell you, their houses maybe spotless but they throw the trash out the windows, and interfere with secular activities. The people have everyright not to want them to set up a kindergarden in their area.Leave some places in Jeruslem for the secular people to live in peace, because they are the tax base there and if they leave Jerusalem will be in worse shape than it is now financially.

In the name of 'religion?"
I love Israel but, hate the 'religious' bums who want to dictate and beg at the same time.
Get a job, do YOUR service in the miliary and live as YOU wish.
Don't inflict more damage to the state of Israel and display of ignorance by the way in which you treat your women and children!!!.
Rabbis my ass, they're dictators!
I'd have them clean the floor w/ their tongues. Hypocritical assholes.

8. There is only one thing more
ridiculous than religion itself and that is the behaviour of the followers. When I encounter religious fanatics of any persuasion I feel so ashamed. When it comes to our ultra ortodox I hang my head low, very low and I do all I can to avoid them. They are their own worst enemy.

10. Black Hats
If the black hats' behavior is nauseating to other Jews, imagine what it does to non-Jews. While they plot to overcome the spirit of Israel with their narcissistic piety, Israelis become distracted by those who plot the demies of all Jews. Rise of the black hats protents bad news for Jews in general. They are as disconnected from reality as any Islamofascist anywhere who similarly, are brainwashed from childhood.

13. #11 You can laugh at our expense all you want
After all, you already live at our expense, feed your families at our expense, educate your children in Yeshivas at our expense, house your irresponsibly large families at our expense, and avoid paying full property taxes at our expense. What's a little mockery going to do to us?
But be warned - take too much from us at our expense, and we'll simply leave. I wonder if you can sustain this country just on prayer. If all the seculars leave, we will be able to test the statement "Talmidei chachamim marbim shalom ba'olam" -- if the Arabs kill you because all the seculars have left and there is nobody to serve in the army, the statement is obviously false! And I assure you, that is what will happen.
Now, get back to your cheap jabs at secular society. But remember, you exist because of us, not the other way around.

14. Rox is Right
The Black hats make lousy neighbors. Just a couple years ago they turned a neighborhood into Tiberias into a battlefield. A rabbi set up a synagogue in the house, they he commanded the surrounding houses to observe the Sabbath. His Hozer Be tshuvah thungs threatened the neigbors. Every shabbat the people in the neighborhood had to share their street with hundreds of hassidim. Tolerance goes two ways. THey demand we tolerate them, but they won't tolerate the secular.

15. Goyim seek to divide the Jewish People
These fundamentalists must be Goyim - yes the same Goyim in quaint costumes we see in many neighborhoods in New York. They pretend to be the heirs of the Jewish People, when they are really trying only to maintain their monopolistic stranglehold on fee-based services, such a Kashrut and marraige ceremonies. You are not Jews; you are fundamentalist Goyim. You are no better than the factions that delivered the Temple to our enemies two thousand years ago. The secular Jews with chidlren and dogs are beloved of God, or he would not allow them to thrive in Jerusalem.

18. Don't get it
Aren't there laws regardingnwhen and where to open schools? If so, what is all this yelling about? If there are enough religious kindergarten-aged kids in Kiryat Yovel, the law must dictate the procedures...
Kiryat Yovel is a neighborhood that is rapidly changing to more religious. Why? I suppose the secular are selling their apartments...Nobody is forcing them to...if they don't like the religious people moving in, then why not stay put?
Confused...

20. Y can't the Israeli pop. force the Chareidim to go to army?
Because of the dumb form of governement.
Afterall, the majority of Israelis want them to go to the army under some framework, even Hesder of Nachal Chareidi, but it doesn't happen.
They should have a referendum.

22. #18 As someone whos family was forced to leave...
I'll explain it to you. My family lived in Jerusalem for the past 400 years or so, and since the Haredization of Jerusalem began we were forced to leave our neighborhood. Let me give you an example. Have you ever heard of Skhunat HaBucharim? The Bukharan Quarter, built by the Bukharan Jews? Today there are almost no Bukharans left there, it has been completely Haredized. As soon as Haredim start moving into a neighborhood, property prices begin to fall: they don't look after the streets, they dont look after the houses, and they completely change the character of the neighborhoods where they move to (again, go the the Bukharan market in the Bukharan quarter, there is nothing Bukharan about it other than the name). They also seem to inexplicably litter the streets where they live and, again, often demand their neighbors show stringent "tolerance" towards their strict practices, to the point where a regular secular Israeli simply cant go on living there.
So yes, we sell our houses - before their value begins to drop, before our neighborhoods are ruined, and before our lives become unbearable. Can you blame us? There is a systematic Haredi attempt to expand into secular neighborhoods, and there's nothing we can do about it.

23. False thinking
Open a Zionist Museum in Geula - there already is one round the corner.
A secular bookstore in Bnei Brak - there are several - look at Steimatsky .
Hareidim throw litter out the window - are you telling me that in a building of 20 apartments - they all stand there and throw litter out the windows - me thinks not! (There's idiots everywhere)
Not paying taxes - I think that we have exhausted this one. Hareidim do pay taxes and many (including myself) work. I have yet to meet a Hareidi in the markolet demanding his 15.5% tax deduction from his bill - and they spend far more on food, clothes, shoes, etc than the one kid and a dog.
Chozrei B'Tshuvah take over Tiberius - ahhh - this one's interesting - it's well known that these newly religious are from "low class" secular, Israeli families. One may want to take on a Torah life, but they still have the same genes, and it takes a lifetime of work to overcome a bad midda.
So - b'kitzur what is the problem? Some seculars can't stand to see that due to lack of space, the Hareidim are beginning to "spill over" to their pastures. There's two alternatives:
1. Convince the Lands Authority to give them more area to build
2. keep quiet and be thankful that we have a land where Jews can live as Jews, and not as goyim

24. # 6
Perhaps you might want to consider the following:
The Inquisition, the Holocaust, Cambodia, Biafra, Darfur, Rwanda, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, along with natural disasters such as the tsunami in Asia, and the list is virtually endless.
And you think it's the fools who say there is no God?

26. The Ultra Sexs(Ultra seculars) are-
moving out of Israel and the people of faith are coming.
This is great! By By.
Just what the Prophets said would happen at the end.
The real goim are the Ultra Sexs.
Why all this bitching about the Haradim??
The ones I know work and are professionals. And serve in the army in greater percentage than the ultrasexs. One fifth of the shenkin cry babbies don't serve like their mama Aviv Geffin and Dana Interational.. heads of the Ultrasex..HAHA.
I am religious and couldn't care less what the haredim do. So what.
Except they are the ones out there protecting your sorry asses out there in Judea and Sumeria.
Remember the last war. Who was there from TA raise your joints?
Soon the missles will fall on Dizengoff. What then?
Duh i donno..
When you go to India, Nepal, Tibet, VietNam, etc etc. do you all bitch about millions of orange robbed Sadus, Buddists?
They don't serv in the army, pay taxes and are supported by the people. And they don't need to take over neighborhoods since 98% of them are religious to begin with.
When I was talking to a couple of Hindus a few years back in the Himalaya and mentioned we had a day when our G-d said that everybody including animals had a day off, they almost fell on the floor with envy and amazement. They slave 7 days a week all their life and would cut off a finger to have the gift of Shabbat,
And their Temples are maintained by the state.
Your only temple is the mall and Yad Vashem! And Rabin your only god..
You idiot ultrasex's have thrown out the baby with the bathwater.
You are really mad at G-d for telling you you shouldn't work like slaves 7 days a week with no rest for anything.
Remember the day they had in Tel Aviv when nobody drove? Everybody loved it but you idiots couldn't decide on what day to do it again. HAHA dorks.
You chucked out the G-d that created you and Israel and He will chuck you out in the end,,,more room for us and way less smog.
Don't forget to turn out the lights when you go and leave the keys in the door, if there is one after the arabs get done having you for dinner.
Go on move to Hell. A.(LA)..
Have a nice day from,

27. #20 Despite the outcry the state is NOT WILLING to draft
Despite the outcry the state is NOT WILLING to draft chareidim in the army.
A few months ago, an article appeared under the heading “50,000 Yeshiva Bochurim” and warned of another acute problem: 40% of the officers in the IDF are religious! The story went on to point out that in the army’s combat unit, the percentage of religious officers is an even higher 50%. The writer’s tone suggested great concern about the developments liable to ensue from this “undesirable” state of affairs and the presence of these officers in the army’s ranks could serve as a spearhead for a religious military takeover. The writer hinted that having so many religious officers in the army sparked fear in his heart. The question arises, what exactly is he afraid of?
The next day, in the same paper, secular political analysts expressed the opinion that there is no chance that religious officers would display disloyalty to the army or to the laws of the State. They noted the 100% compliance among religious soldiers to the general call-up for the Second Lebanon War, and their self-sacrifice in those terrible battles, despite the fact that their wounds were still fresh from the betrayal they had suffered at the hands of the State and the military during the previous summer’s disengagement from Gush Katif.
What, then, is the warning he is trying to convey in his article with its screaming headline? If the Israeli image implies motivation to serve the Israeli people, to love the country, and defend it, then who can compare to these soldiers? And who is there today who fulfills the dictates of the Zionist ethic with the faith and enthusiasm of these young people? The writer of that newspaper story is well aware that they carry these values in their hearts to an extraordinary degree, and that is precisely why the army values them so much. What then makes him imply that they are somehow less “Israeli” than their secular counterparts? Could it be because religious army officers don’t curse, don’t use unclean expression, don’t loot the army’s property, are not involved in substance abuse, and don’t indulge in licentious behavior and the matter of their moral superiority?
The answer is very simple. The write didn’t say so out loud, but his meaning is clear. The religious soldier or officer is not “Israeli” simply because he is not secular. The writer isn’t afraid of a military takeover by these soldiers, he’s afraid of a social takeover. And for him, this is a greater worry than any other. This is why there is a movement to break up the Hesder yeshivos. AND THIS IS WHY, DEEP IN THEIR HEARTS, THEY AREN’T WILLING TO DRAFT THE CHAREIDI YESHIVA BOCHURIM, DESPITE THE OUTCRY FOR THEM TO BE DRAFTED, and there is solid evidence on which to base such an assumption. For they greatly fear that if these young men should be recruited, they won't be content, at the end of the day, to serve on kitchen patrol, but will wish to rise to positions of influence. And that, of course, would be a national disaster.
Moshe Grylak , Mishpachah

28. Shalom , you're right
by saying that baale tschuva are from low class families , you have to be from this "class" to do it .
As i told you already more than once , if they spend so "much" money , if they are working , why are the poorest Jewish cities those where they are a vast segment of the population ?

30. . . . and I've told you, Charles . . .
If a salary is e divided amongst 10 in a household instead of 3, obviously the per capita income is going to be lower.
Also, take into account that Chareidim spend far more in education than their secular brothers. I, for example, spend 1/3 of my income of my kids education.
