Israel has been attacked from Lebanon for ages, and they maintain some benign areas for bargaining chips. What would you have done, Johan? Would you accept being attacked, win the war, then simply give the enemy everything back while the enemy doesn't accept your existence and is preparing to attack again? The villagers who lived in those villages are residing in Beirut & they were given the Lebanese citizenship. Many of those villagers have poof of ownership to the land in those villages.
