1. Second act of heroism abroad by Israeli firemen in a year
Jake   (09.04.08)
Since last year, when 52 of Israel's best firemen were dispatched to Greece to battle the worst fires on the ground raging around Olympia. Other countries that assisted sent firefighting aircraft, while the Israelis worked in life threatening conditions in the midst of the flames. Oh well. Who remembers that now? Durban II will soon be here, and instead the world will remember to universally condemn "Israeli apartheid".

Do you know this saying : the right men on the right place ? This girl was lucky that there were firemen [ also from MY town ] WHEN she needed help . For them it's normal to save people , everywhere . Not to compare with those who are send abroad on rescue missions . But it's nice it were Israelis who did it . Maybe some more pro Israel people ?

I hear that Stephen Spielberg has just concluded a 17 hour meeting with the owners of HBO for a 12 X 1 hour season of this, will be called, "Rescued" and will go back to the roots of the Fireman, how his father survived the war, how his sister dealt with the fact that she lost a an extremely sentimental rubber duck at sea during a kayaking accident and how their great great grandfather was killed in another kayaking accident in Russia in 1878, and how the story retraces his steps until present where he found himself on the banks of the river, - and his mind continently flashbacking to the kayaking accident in Russia, and whether he could muster up enough power, energy and self belief, to save the little girl, where parts 9, 10 and 11 retrace the actual rescue, with number 12, the welcoming committee in Ben Gurion on his arrival home, and the girls arrival back to her home in France. Jack Bauer, and 24 are also interested to base 24, season 8 on this epic story.
