All your posts on Palin and Obama have horrified me in that so many non-Americans really have no idea what Americans or American Christians are like. I, myself, in finding slim pickings this election season, prayed to God to give us an acceptable Christian candidate and he gave us S. Palin who proclaims her Christianity and, indeed, seems to be living her beliefs. Trust in somone who tries to follow Biblical principles is so much easier than attempting to understand Obama with his Muslim father, atheist mother and his own slick evasive speech. It hurts me that black Americans have only this specimen to draw on. I would have much preferred Colin Powell. Question: Is voting for someone just for their black skin racist? Must they not have some skill or talents to accompany this? And to all the Jewish people who tend to think evangelical Christians are fanatics, it is you who have the theocratic government, although if you dig a little you will find that evangelicals are perhaps your very best friends in the world as the Bible requires us to look out for your welfare. Unfortunately Jon, your post is accurate. Otherwise, how could a blatent liar be elected president?? The British press nailed it perfectly, "59 million dumb Americans". Our press has been silenced quite effectively by the republican administration. Truth has become a most rare occurance where the administration is concerned. Ask yourself why a most capable reporter did such a poor job of interviewing Sarah Palin. She was permitted to avoid answering any question where knowledge was needed. Yet no alarm was raised in the visual press nor the written press.
