I live in Shilo, which is steeped in Jewish history, although recently classified as being in the West Bank. I consider myself to be a simple Jew living in Israel. I am fortunate to have true friends across the religous and political spectrum. All I read is about Jewish blood boiling. Why are we doing this to each other, no seriously? On the left does anyone really believe that turning our homes over to a certain Hamas led PA in Judea will bring genuine peace, or prevent attacks on settlements such as Tel Aviv where other human beings live? On the right, is angrily reacting to every Jews' concern about desiring lasting peace the only answer? Reality check: We have enough dedicated enemies wishing to evict every Jew from every inch of Israel, regardless of who draws the line! I'm a fighter for Israel which means first gaining peace between our torn people, then rising as a strong nation to destroy those who would spill rather than boil Jewish blood. Yes, we can bring peace with those Arab neighbors who value that term. Meanwhile we have to learn to respect the sanctity of Jewish blood, including the IDF, settlers, seculars, and everyone else that is a part of Am Yisroel.
