Why do you say he is a Palestinian if he is Israeli! For many years we have tried and tried to get the Jerusalem Arab citizens interested in what happens in the City and to vote in the local elections - now they will!!! What we want is Arab members of the moetza so that they can make decisions instead of blaming us for everything.

We need to separate from the Palestinians, either by a peace treaty or unilaterally. Now the Palestinians are trying the get into our political system. Until when is the the Israeli government going to keep playing this ridiculous game?

Here in the United States, people who don't know any better (i.e. ex-president Carter) view Israel as an apartheid state. First of all, the whole concept is completely laughable. Second, electing an Arab to be the mayor of Jerusalem would completely nullify that statement. I don't know much about Israel's politics as it pertains to individual cities, but surely there must be checks and balances on the mayor as well just in case he isn't as good as he seems.

Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish nation of Israel. The Arabs have 22 capitals. As for some Jewish woman marrying you, that is the problem with our Jews. Som Jews cause us more pain than the Arabs.
