1. Israeli poorer than Europeans but more optimistic
Roxy ,   Israel   (09.25.08)
What a crock, most of us have lost our optimism about the future of this country long ago when the gov. did nothing for us Northern Residents during the summer Lebanon war, we lost it when our businesses floundered and we went bankrupt and there was no gov. bailout. We became even less optimistic when our gas masks were never returned, despite the gov. stating that we would get them back over half a yr ago. We lost faith with all the vile corruption perminating from the highest offices in this country down to the lowest town clerk! This country is going down the tubes faster each day, that is why so many Israelis(sabras) have been taking longer trips abroad and looking to move away, the gov. here is leading the country to a big fall!
2. And here I was thinking Israelis were rich and miserable

Lets ask how optimistic our abused holocast survivors are , or the people who go to bed at night not knowing how to pay their bills, or other weaker sections of society who got royally screwed by our fine enlightend atheist humanists. We are so optimistic , because Ynet tells us to believe that way. Not only are we optimistic but we completly trust anything related to our fine state related agencys and governments , were only fine optimistic honest people take care of us. What the heck ,poverty is a small price to pay to live among our utopian selfhating Herzelists , who are deconstructing the land and its society at an alarming pace. Slash and burn comes to mind comparing our fine elite to the destruction of our planet at large.
